    mine just had his toe off fellah, he had a few weeks in kennel kept it clean, his weight started to go back on it, waited for it all to heal back up, plenty of time, kept it clean, some walking again, they will tell you when they are ready for more, that was before christmas, now hes flat out again, not even favouring a foot at all in any way shape or form. you'd never tell he had it off.

    f**k the vets, he's your dog, they'll want you to pay the bill so f**k 'em, if you want to see the dog, you go and see the f****r. Once he's better and at home and they send you the bill, ask them then, how often can you visit your dog or fone up to see how its doing....................................... the focus has shifted these days from the welfare of the animals to a profit making business...................a sad but inevitable shift i'm afraid. Hope your dog gets through ok mate. B

    i experienced similar years ago, with a litter of hound pups that i was rearing, virus said the vet, he gave me synulox tablets, gave them twice a day for a week or so, lost one but all the others came through. went hollow in a couple of days, drinking a lot of water, i wonder if it was some sort of ecoli??. Vets normally call things they cant diagnose " a virus". I hope your dog makes it fella. Chin up

    my dogs are fed minced raw chicken mixed in with the complete food EVERY day mate. Whether he was referring to a sick dog praps ??
