Never sold a full grown dog but I have sold surplus pups. I have only bred three litters in my puff and in total about 6 pups over the years. Nothing wrong with selling surplus pups it's the regular or young dog breeders that scunner me.... You want to buy a pup dotty :whistling:

Think folk are confusing training a pup and working a pup. Teach the basics young and as the pup develops change the training to suit. I don't understand the logic of letting a pup run free for the first 6months of it's life...but then again I am a simpleton

I've only ever had Collie x's and never had one that was skittish or nervous. They do tend to be a bit Hyper in their first couple of seasons and need constant work to keep them stimulated. Good socialisation and patience is needed when training. Any dog bullied or maltreated will be nervous around people, puppies thrive on confidence and as long as you bring them on properly they should turn out level headed and sound.

Just have a wee look at how much money the government gets from the animal rights mob...there's the real reason they have any influence and the reason it was banned in the first place. That c**t Watson who set the ball rolling up here eventually went mad and tried to torch a building....hopefully what he had is infectious and they all end up in a padded room.
