  1. "But did the Jews advocate mass slaughter of those not of their religion? Were there extremists amongst them going around blowing themselves up with suicide vests? And did they go around forcing people to join their particular brand of religion?" No but there are Israelis sitting in armchairs drinking wine on porches as their country shell Gaza. Seems strange to me that a race of people who suffered such atrocities during WW2 should now perpetrate the same genocide on the Palestinians.

  3. Most of these high profile fuckers went to the same schools and protect their own. This has been going on for decades but the rich and the powerful with friends in high places appear to be untouchable. Remember all the MP's that will be falling over themselves to pay tribute to this animal over the next few weeks. I'd take a flamethrower to the lot of them.
  4. What f***ing chance do you have, laws obviously don't apply to those at the top f***ing disgraceful this is allowed to go on. Leon Britton, they knew about him years ago and did nothing. Now he's dead watch the hand wringing begin the same as they did with Saville. The government needs cleansing but as usual f**k all will happen.
  5. I'm old enough to remember the bad old days where folk would light up in restaurants while I was tryin to eat and the non-smoking section at the movies was across the opposite side of the cinema. Given the dangers associated with passive smoking it's only right that smokers have to go outside for a puff. No more coming home from the pub (or anywhere for that matter reeking of smoke. Folk want to eat shit, that's fine they're only harming themselves at the end of the day, smoking is another matter as I said the associated health risks. Still surprised at the amount of folk who smoke given what

  7. "I'd love to know where all this carrion that Red Kites, Buzzards and Ravens feed on is ?????????? It's illegal for a farmer to leave fallen stock on the land any more and I'm out on the land 7 days a week and don't see as much as a dead rabbit. Yet, all these protected birds of prey that the Wildlife departments are churning out seem to always look healthy and well fed. Pity all the leverat's and wild pheasant poults we used to see aren't as healthy." Most likey at the side of any motorway. Don't know what its like down your way but up here more birds are killed by c
  8. "Farage is a politician who wants to change Britain for the better, weather you like him or not, he means what he says. Brand is basically a failed comedian and actor, who needs the publicity to sell his books and keep him in the public eye ! Like Geldof and Bono, I'd have far more respect for him if he led the way by giving half his fortune to the causes he shouts about" Aye just like Farage who claimed ex amount of millions in expenses as a Euro mp and the same Farage who says he struggles on a combined income of over a hundred grand a year.
  9. Sums it up nicely I think
  10. War by media and the triumph of propaganda 5 December 2014 Why has so much journalism succumbed to propaganda? Why are censorship and distortion standard practice? Why is the BBC so often a mouthpiece of rapacious power? Why do the New York Times and the Washington Post deceive their readers? Why are young journalists not taught to understand media agendas and to challenge the high claims and low purpose of fake objectivity? And why are they not taught that the essence of so much of what's called the mainstream media is not information, but power? These are urgent questions. The worl
  11. "Clever.....or maybe there are more stupid people than we realise in this country who will buy any shit if it's spun right" Spot on, just ask the no voters.
  12. It's ok Lab they've sent the OO in to march through the city to calm things down, everything will be fine now
  13. The whole thing with the yes vote on the no table is shite, they were there before the counting had started and moved accordingly when it did.
  14. On a positive note, Scotland will need a new national anthem and the words to Scotland the Brave will have to be changed to Scotland we're really quite scared, Andy Murray is back to being a Brit again and Alec Salmond was last seen staggering about Edinburgh steaming,
  15. Aye we wanted a Labour Government but got the tories in disguise
  16. Chr15J Nothing unpatriotic about voting no or yes, there's morons on both sides of the fence. This is about the chance for a small country to run it's own affairs without being dictated to by a Government that has no interest in the majority of it's people. If it's a no come tomorrow then we carry on as before being shafted and unable to do anything about it. If on the other hand it's a yes then we have the opportunity to do something about it and actually having a chance of having a say in how our country is run. Who knows it might even catch on and the Welsh and the Irish looking to
  17. Scotland on it's own didn't return a labour government aye the majority of folk up here voted for Labour but realistically its middle England that decides who get's in (or in most cases Rupert Murdoch). Scotland has never voted for a tory government or the present incumbents. That's why they can f**k with the scots with impunity.
  18. " You already get to choose who runs your country and we've all ended up in the shit with to many Scottish pm's and mp's" Scotland has never got what it's voted for, the present government doesn't even have a proper mandate to run the country. Blair destroyed what was left of Labour following the Thatcher years and had to reinvent themselves as Tories by another name. Cameron and his cronies are fleecing the country and selling off the most profitable bits to their pals. The thought of a coalition with UKIP is a frightening thought so it's a no brainer for a lot of folk up here, A smal
  19. Guy assaulted by two no voting Teens. Lukey its disgusting what happened to you and your family but there's arseholes on both sides of the campaign. Some people are just pricks, pure and simple.
  20. Rotherham bad as it is doesn't compare too the paedo rings covered by the government...conveniently lost the files....goes all the way to the heart of government and involves to many important people yet nothing said or done...strange that
  21. Gnash your obviously basing your stats from the early years on the "official" attendance, It was a well known fact that Celtic board (Kelly's et al) massaged the attendance for "tax reasons". The whole football culture up here has changed over the last 30yr or so. There used to be pitches everywhere for kids to play on, now they're all locked up at night. The council also have a habit of taking the goal posts away during the summer when the kids are of school and not cutting the grass. Money also a factor for families, and kids that go to training have all their individuality coached out
