  1. Hi mate i use a cheap tin of dog food with holes punch in to it then stand on it a bit so the juices drip out,the rats have to lick the juice as they can not run away with it giving you a bit extra time to aim and shoot. You can shoot them in the garden with a airifle just make sure you have a good backstop and make sure none of your pellets leave the confines of the garden

  6. yes you read it right after all the stick i gave the hw100 owners in the past,i have joined the dark side .Must admit it is a cracking bit of kit,i love it .Shot targets mostly just to get used to the gun in the back garden then a magpie landed and had to go,i have put a post up in the other section. I sold the AAS410 because i had a couple of unexpected bills come through the door but after spending a weekend stuck in the house i relised i needed another rifle. Thanks mum and dad for the loan.Arr the bank of mum and dad I will be out at the weekend putting it through

  8. Moderation means nothing to him . Last time i was up there i asked him what is favourite beer was and his answer was "A OPEN ONE" .
  9. If hes been on the magners he want even find his pc let alone anything else
  10. They knew what they was going in for when they signed up,nobody forced them to join up did they.Think about the poor feckers in WW1 AND WW2 they HAD to sign up they had no choice and when they came back they did not put claims in for their injuries, they just got on with their lifes the best they could. I say good luck to the british airways staff for having balls to stand up for themselves, maybe the rest of the country should take heed and do the same then maybe this once great and pleasant land, which the people fought for in the great wars, would be a better place to live.
  11. Come on ROB admit it,the fort was for you so you could play cowboys and indians while all your mates where playing doctors and nurses, odd child
  12. Well done micky still getting a few i see,had a few out myself this weekend managed a couple of rabbits and a few hares as well so all in all not bad no pics as the weather was crap slinging it down heavy.
  13. I have a ferrets skull somewhere if its any good for you.
  14. you do well with the fenns then ruining it by saying something stupid .High tensile are for hoop snares,it would take a fair while to make tealers out of it plus about 3 hernias. . Go to any counrty store or farm shop they should have some,if its your first time just try the single tealers first as they are easier to make then go on to the fig.4 saves you wasting the wire.
  15. 64 in 1 night out of peg, hoop and fence snares.
  16. I just use spray paint on my fenns, not really to make them invisable because they are set in the entrance of a hole,to stop them rusting in damp conditions. As for painted ones not fire easily i have never noticed any differance between a painted one and a rusty one. This rabbit was caught fair and square around the head area,so it looks to me it fired pretty well. Plus they look nicer hanging up in my shed instead of the rusty looking one's
  17. At least you caught some, unlike me couldn't snare myself at the mo.I think i need to get up north for a refresher course
  18. Looks like you should be controlling the moles as well judging by the mole hills in the pics,i will show you how its done when i come up . Nice going lads, nice total to end the season on.
  19. so i placed them at the entrance to the burrows, on a fairly steep embankment, I suggest you read the pinned sections at the top
  20. How long do you think it will take with cage traps?most of your rabbits will die of old age before they jump into one of them @micky straight to the point as is the norm
