  1. I used to get them from the indian takeaway but they had red screw on lids and they had been used for mango chutney.
  2. has he checked that all the drive shafts are ok and that one isnt broken,this happened to my sons car and on inspection one of the front driveshafts was broken and the stub was just spinning
  3. I used to own an old mk1 theoben and the adjuster had been set and sealed by an rfd with screw lock so that it could not be easily tampered with never had any problems

  5. I buy scotch pie cases and lids from stephens the bakers and I fill them with homemade venison stew,they are great with mash and beans or baby boiled potatoes and veg...mmm im getting hungry now....

It does not matter where it is mate as long as it is secured to the fabric of the building and out of sight of visitors to your home,also it may be wise not to put it where it will suffer from exposure to heat ie boiler cupboard...I recently removed my gun cabinet and reinstalled it after insulating the inside of the external wall that it was fixed to as it was suffering from condensation due to being very cold.

  9. I heard that three lads were caught with lurchers and a lamp in fife and they have been charged with going equipped, not sure of all the facts but the police have taken thier gear and vehicle pending the trial.

  11. We know about Bird and this guy...I wonder what the other 4 offenses were?   12. one of my mates used .22rf bird shot that was recomended by the gun shop for shooting pigeons in a barn using a .22 rimfire rifle, you would have thought he was firing bird seed they proved to be totally useless and unused rounds were returned to shop

No amount of additional legislation will stop licenced firearms being used to carry out atrocities like this,the only thing that will completely stop the use of licenced firearm being used is a blanket ban on licenced firearms and shotguns.......BUT THEN THE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO KILL AND MAME OTHERS WOULD JUST USE ANOTHER METHOD....wake up and look at the big picture...on the news earlier they said that there had been something like 40 major firearms incidents in the country of which 14% were licenced firearms that works out about 5 or 6 licenced firearms incidents out of the 40,I agree its stil

I think that on shoots semi autos are frowned upon ,when I use mine at clays I have the sling fitted so that the gun is carried vertical between traps and I also fit a luminous plastic clip called a "SAF-T PLUG" to show clearly that the gun is empty,this clip as fitted before I leave each trap. Heres the plug I use.

  16. you could try using Ians recipie but use guinness or sweetheart stout instead of stock as a different twist....
  17. you could try the suction cup type mounts mate that way you could mount on the windscreen at the front and remove when not in use that way it can not be nicked

  19. I got my quote back from the fitters the other day they want £2875 ( £3875 if the chimney needs lining) to supply and fit a charnwood island 1 stove ,Im getting another quote on from an independant fitter tomorrow

  21. Well Ive opted for the charnwood island 1 its costing about £2000 -£2500 fitted depending if my flue passes the test when my gas liner is removed,It should be up and running in december,Think I will be burning beech and smokeless fuel.
  22. Im off up to the showroom today to price having a multifuel stove fitted,im not sure wheather to buy an inset one or a free standing though.
