    This could end up costing SNH and the government a fair bit of cash when they are drawn through the courts,If people who have been deemed competant in the past and thus issued a firearms certificate for years saying that they can legaly shoot deer and who have spent a fortune on firearms for stalking are told they can no longer possess them claim for compensation in the european courts.Also if this is allowed to procede in scotland and not england it may be constrewed as a racist act against scottish stalkers ......I think SNH and the goernment should tread very carefully....

    Think they would put 2+2 together when the farmer phones in to say that someone is on thier land and up in scotland i think the police run a check to make sure you are who you say you are.... name,address and dob,I have also been asked for my mobile phone number should they require to contact me while I am on the permition ,I have permition on a few pieces of land I inform the police when I arrive and give them a time that I will be off the land and I have also arranged with the farmers that i will call or text prior to any lamping trip therefore if I dont call or text then they calls the old

    Hi mate, you should have asked for a reciept for your lamp and told him you would call at the station in the morning to collect it, I think I would be calling in anyway to ask what has happened to your lamp and ask for an explanation as to why it was taken from you when you were on land that you had permition to be on,and take along your written permition,also may be worth asking what evidence they had to accuse you of being on other land with your lamp,I would not just let it go.

    All the shows are too commercialised now and there are very few bargains to be had, Scone palace used to be a good fair but now it is just too expensive, Most of my gear is now bought off the net.

    This has got to be the bargain of the century ,these calls are simply amazing ,I use mine to call in foxes in daylight ,the call can be set up remote from your shooting position so that you can call the fox to where you want it to be so that it can be dispatched safely,Im honestly surprised that it hasn't sold already,I would not part with mine...Great piece of kit...Good luck with the sale mate.     I use my foxpro to call them in to the rifle day and night ,this accounts for a few of the lamp shy ones too .....only because you dont have to excersise and feed a rifle every day as you do a dog ,but as has been said before there are more than one effective way to control foxes and we should be using all the tools in the box, ocasionally I get some lads with terriers to work the dens to a shotgun and I have also used hounds or terriers to work cover to standing shotguns.

    hi again mate one thing to think about though is that the pigeon could have been pricked with a shotgun hece the reason that it was easily caught and lead shot will definately not do yer ferrets any good

    I hope it all works out for you mate,I work for a local authority and we have just been issued with guidelines about this sort of thing as it turns out that junkies are rigging up light switches,lift buttons and plastic handrails in flats with contaminated needles.
