  4. Got the wife to come on her first lamping trip tonight ,she was a star on the lamp we got two foxes a dog and a vixen ,I will post photo's tomorrow she said that she enjoyed getting out but did not like the mud,must agree it was a bit sticky under foot.....

I can remember when i was a laddie just out ferriting for the first time and the old guy i was out with showed me how to break the rabbits neck by pushing its chin back you can imagine the old bugger rolling about laughing when i tried it and the rabbits front teeth dug into the heel of my hand...I still bear the scar to this day so that i wont forget to watch the teeth when using that method

  13. i got mine from ebay just put in 12 volt lead acid and see whats there i got a 20 ahr for about 30 quid its a wee bit heavy but lasts the pace on a good nights foxing

Its all down to personal preference mate ,ive got a sporting multichoke o/u and it does everything that i ask of it and it throws the lead whenever i pull the trigger it isnae fussy clays or game , but i would recomend getting a multi choke it has more versitility mate,semi auto's are great if you want reduced recoil though again all about what you want ..........
  15. hi pal,i got a great pair of boots i neglected them and they have lasted about 8 years,they are lowa very similar to meindl i think both companies are owned by brothers who owned meindl and then one went his own way or something like that i have bought a new pair of meindl boots but will continue to wear my lowas until they fall of my feet or walk to the bucket thier self because they are so comfy and warm summits had good deals on both lowa and meindl give them a call they always have sale stock

I was invited out by a mate last night and i took my foxpro scorpion we set out at about 8pm and it took us about 30 minutes to arrive at his permission ,we set out down the farm lane and into the fields after a bout 15 minutes we arrived at a good calling spot we called using the foxpro for about 15 minutes and then we caught a glimpse of two foxes about two fields away they seemed to be coming in to the call so we continued to call and sure enough they both came accross the two fields then jumped over the dyke and into the field that we were calling from as they were both running in like t
