    the book said 300 shots with the 400cc bottle but the guns got the smaller 280cc me thinks

    I was told that the rapid 7 gets 120 good shots per charge anyone know if thats the case

    if the x clamps wer'nt there, I reckon it wer'nt new when you bought it, and someone had already done the x clamp mod, could be the case it was second hand

    ive been offered a rapid 7 ,and the guy has given it to me to try and in all honesty it is one of the older models and it shoots like a dream its been well looked after too its got to be pre1990 but it certainly does not look it

    Hi folks ,I got one from the NEF shop on THL was only £125 think they are dearer now though but u could try haggling top shop to deal with i phoned about 3-4 times for info before i actually bought it only one word to decribe it ....... brilliant You will definately not regret buying one mate,but as said before we dont know what the lifespan of the units are yet

    cheers for the info guys ,seemingly its one of the first original rapid 7 pre mk1 but it is still in great nick, ive checked the seals as best i can for now,still trying to get the bottle tested so that i can check with a full charge,might nip in to my local RFD to see if he will charge the buddy bottle for me,i think the seals are on ebay for £5 plus postage so if all else is fine then i will just replace all the seals myself then i know that they are all new....

    I'd be on to the chief constable of the area asking for a crime number etc and take it all the way force the plod to report it to the procurator fiscal its not thier place to let him off with assault regardless of the concequences fact is the plod look after thier own but if you insist it will have to be reported if not go to the police complaints comition get some justice for your lad ,you were probably right not to give the guy a good hiding as two wrongs dont make a right but i do not think i could have held back against my better jugement....force the issue mate and do not let this slip

    before i took my sons up to dunee i had a look inside and did not see the x clamps that you say should be there i found the heatsinks but defo no x clamps on the underside of the board heatsinks were held in by screws could this be a different board or setup ?

    i took my sons one to a place in dundee to get fixed it cost £50 it only had one flashing light and as said before it has been back every month for three months i have spent loads on fuel going back and forward,would have been cheaper buying a new one i have heard that the manufacturer was replaceing faulty units if they were less than 2 yrs old and had the microsoft security seal intact defo not worth the hasstle of fixing it in my experience

    Thanks for the info mate,apparently the gun was shooting at over 14.5ft/lbs and the guy had to get an RFD to pick it up from the police station and it had to be reset back to within the leagal limit but if i decide to buy it i could put it on my ticket and get it put up to fac by Theoben but not sure if it would be worth the hastle any ideas as to what it would cost to retest the bottle and have it refilled

    Hi guys,i have been offered a Theoben Rapid 7 mk1 .22cal that comes with scope sling and bag,charging kit and both left and right handed stocks two seven shot mags it had all seals replaced two years ago and has had little use since then it is sitting on around 11.5-12ft/lbs ,The divers bottle is out of test now,i would like to draw on the wealth of knowledge on THL to find out how much it is worth and how much would it cost to get the bottle tested and filled ,also any good or bad points about the rapid 7, any usefull input would be greatly appreciated. cheers Tam

    Just found out that there was a strike why then did the tart at the post office not tell me that i was wasting my cash sending stuff first recorded and not sugest second recorded if she knew there was no chance of it arriving any faster,over the past week ive sent about 8 parcells first recorded .......CUN*S :realmad:

    I think they will collect considerably more when they start taking licence fees and collecting vat on the gun cabinets that will be required not to mention the resale of the confiscated guns at auction that have been taken off the poor buggers that cant get a Fire arms certificate
