ive heard that too, so there must be some truth in it if u have heard that from the other side of the world
-
i think there are two main reasons for getting off working stock one is to give you a better chance of getting something decent the other is supporting the guys that support your sport hence the fact that i try and help out a hunter first
-
100 pounds is what, 45 kilos in weight?? some of the pigs the guys get here are over 200 pounds, by quite a bit we have euro blooded pigs here too
-
yeah 400kg is a big mother ()#@$ of a pig lol foxies and JRTs ive heard about doing it, but i dont know the laws in the UK, that is why i mentioned it, here it would be frowned upon by the powers that be

id travel around the world, hunt everything possible with the running dogs, probably get into the terrier work too
-
u mean 100 pounds in size, or 1000 pounds mate? ive often read about JRTs and similar dogs that are called Nut dogs, because they grab the pigs by the nuts, which means the pig sits down, doesnt smash the dogs cos it gets its nuts bit if it stands up and then u just shoot it
-
guys, i dont see why ur dogs cant catch em, hell they use JRTs to good effect to get them here theres a guy known for using JRT x Whippets to catch pigs in my state, he does pretty good to from what ive heard

lol tomo, u be right mate, ur not going up there to the great outback, ur coming to perth and other citys. Having said that i did read once that perth has the highest major crime rate per head in australia, but in alll seriousness ur pretty safe over here, most ppl are willing to help you if you are not trying to sell them something haha the movie was pretty raw, i'll give u that baldie, for a movie it was shit, but for an australian movie it was pretty good IMO the whole movies as you said is speculation, who knows what happened, that guy that survived didnt know what happened

you could also have 2, hook one right up to the battery of the car, so your driving using that one, then hop out and use the battery pack, that way you will have more a longer time before the battery goes flat may not be a problem for you guys, but here we can drive around for hours with the lights on most of the time

lol that was the best part about that film Winner!!! some ppl loved it here, some ppl hated it with a passion, i think they squashed too much into the movie, left far too many gaps, but then they dont know what really happened and maybe that is what they were trying to portray inthe movie??? eg lot of unanswered questions
-
Gday guys any of you seen the movie Wolf Creek? theres a few things in it that i noticed, the number one thing is at the beginning of the movie, they show sunrise beign over the ocean... in western australia that is not true lol, it Sets on this side of the country haha
-

-
maybe but i bet they spend a lot of $ on R&D how much do you all pay for the 240 blitz? i can get the handhelds here in australia for about $140 AUD
-
yeah me to, 40min drive to the beach
-
they are cunning, shy as hell chances are you'll see their digging before you see them that is if they are rooting up the ground there, look for rubs on trees too low for deer if you know they are in the area, try soaking wheat in buckets for a few days, then pour in around the area they ae working, once they get a taste for it they seem to love it.(from my experiences anyway) we also used to leave boned out carcasses for them to eat, they generally eat bones and all

cheers fellas at this stage im not doing anything in particular for my boy, hes 9 month old only, but the place we hunt on is pretty hard on their feet, even the dogs that are up there a bit get sore feet pretty quickly. im going to try the metho on the pads trick, and look into some of the ones suggested here

they plugged in the humans in the Real world, to use the energy they produced to fuel the machines/computers The ppl who are just programs are in the matrix, the fake world which is put in each persons brain that is plugged into the machines u have to watch the first matrix, then the 2nd then 3rd, watching the last one woudl confuse the hell out of you you may need to watch it a few times lol
-
ok i'll try and explain, prob more confusing tho so i dont guarantee anything its based along the lines of this i will use the terms humans and computers, computers also emcompasses machines Humans built computers, those computers got too smart for their own good Humans tried to shut the computers down, the computers turned against the humans The computers kinda won, what they did was get ppl and use humans to provide energy so the computers wouldnt turn off, in effect they plugged into humans in huge chambers and drew the energy that humans produce to make electricity. to ke

General redness in the toes, webbing etc etc have any of you ever used any of the greyhound suppliments to help with muscle stiffness etc etc what natural means have you used in the past which was effective? a few guys have said to use metho on the pads, to harden them up others have said run the dog on hard ground before you go out

whippet/greyhound cross fox hound?
DiStuRBeD replied to terriermaid's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
know a bloke with a 1/2 roo dog x Foxhound/Bullarab Dog hunts everything from rabbits, foxes, pigs etc It is not as sleek as a running dog normally is, she has a bit of more bone, but has a decent nose, is quiet on trail and as tuff as old boots -
hey guys, i have recharge, which is a greyhound supplement that replaces electrolites(sp?) i have not had to use it yet in the field, have used it at home on really hot days to see how the dog takes to it, he reckons its alright i was under the impression that horse supplements were not that good for dogs as they contain higher levels of salt then greyhound supplements, i could be wrong but thats what i read in some greyhound documentation when I was reading up on supplements. The other supplement i was thinking of using was "Feranamo Greyhound" which is a vitamin supplement Be
