  1. Totally agree. Ive owned an s200 in the past great cheap little rifle but now have a little Ultra tactical in .177. Cracking little rifle.
  2. hi do you have any info on them for me, can you zoom in and out or is just a fixed lens thanks The mag is fixed at x4.5 which isnt enough for longer range rabbit shooting although for an extra £170 you can buy a Dr Bob lens doubler. My mate has an n550 mounted on his rapid and after having a go with it i did come away impressed but... It gives a great image but does sit high on your rifle. The i.r also eats batterys but the one thing that put me off buying is that its not easy to interchange between rifles. The n550 is also advertised as being able to be used in daylight to but i personal
  3. .223 -vermin control 22lr -vermin control .17hmr -vermin control While i was at it i also applied for my shotogun cert
  4. Ive used Adjustable objective Hawke Panorama ev scopes with the Map6a reticle extensively on my rimmies and airrifles and get on very well with them. My only criticism is the reticle is a little fine when using my n.v add on. I find the thicker ret on my Mtc viper slightly better for this.
  5. In Lincolnshire it took 7 months from start to finish
  6. Ive owned a few semi auto's in the past including a benelli m2, beretta al391, remmi 1100 and an escort all in 12g. The best of the bunch for me was the '391'. Just about the right weight and length of pull as standard and it cycled every cart i put through it
  7. I prefer my Ultra to the hw100 simply because the one i used to own leaked and the one my friend owns had a leak which cost £130 to get sorted by Hull Cartridge (although its fine now and my mate loves it). Still i personally wont own another...
  8. I recieved 22lr, .17hmr and .223 with no mentoring on my first application for FAC think it depends on what region your in but also my prior military experience may have helped.
  9. Sorry to here this story mate. Good skills on getting the rifle up and running though
  10. Love my little Ultra owned from new October last year and have never had a problem with the cocking mechanism.
  11. http://youtu.be/qQjCKcKYko4 Enjoy
  12. nobody like them then .? i thought they had good following ! maybe not ? Ive been a massive Radiohead fan for many years. I saw them live at the Empress ballrooms in Blackpool in 2006. Awesome gig! Thom Yorke is a god lol. Johny Greenwoods guitar playing is unbelievable! A proper band who dont care about commercial gain and write their own music and actually play their own instruments unlike a lot of the bubble gum pop thats around at the moment.
  13. Thanks for the fast payment i will post out to you tomorrow.
  14. Nice looking Esox there mate. Well done
  15. The hw100 would be a good buy but they are expensive to buy and have also had issues. I owned a s/h early mk1 and it leaked my shooting partner has a new model and it also had issues with leaks but after an expensive repair by Hull cartridge its been fine. If your buying brand new though it will be under warrenty so not a problem. I personally really like the Bsa Ultra but the cocking mechanism isnt to everybodys tastes. The Scorpion would be a good bet? Cant comment on 'Gaystates' as never been a fan
  16. Up for sale i have my hawke Airmax 4-12x44 adjustable objective mill dot scope. ive had this scope mounted on my Bsa Ultra pcp for just under a year and before that on my 22lr. The Airmax has a couple of scatches shown in pics but they look worse than what they actually are. Scope holds zero perfectly and the mill dot reticle is very useable it also comes with the mounts shown in pics . Im only selling as im upgrading. The scope will come boxed. Im after £45 posted.
  17. All my permissions are within 10 miles of my house so saves on the old diesel
  18. Each to his own but i totally disagree...Ive used the n550 and dont get me wrong it gives a fantastic image and i loved the reticle system but.. i didnt like how high they sit on a rifle and also found it a pain not being able to swap it around different rifles easily which is something i can do very easily with my ns200. Plus the standard magnification for the n550 is too low so you have to fork out more cash for the Sony doubler. I also found the onboard l.r. battery life is also poor. When it came to buying the ns200 it was a no brainer for me after taking into account the above and al
  19. Good shooting! A much underatted pcp the s200.
  20. Thats looks nasty! least you spotted it quickly and got it sorted. Your bitch will be soon be back on its feet
  21. I would definatley go for a co-terminous certificate that way you get best of both worlds. Shottie for decoying/rough shooting or game and a rimmie for surgically precise head shots ideal if your eating the rabbits or selling them as most dealers wont take rabbits killed with shotgun. The moderated 22lr is also very quiet. You will pick up a decent 2nd hand bolt action 22lr along the lines of a brno or similar for around £150 and a half decent s/h shottie for around £250.
  22. Hawke panorama with the sr6 ret on my 22lr and .17hmr. Good scope for the dollar
