  1. I used to be pike and zander fishing mad! Spent a good ten years every winter just fishing for them. This Zander was caught on the 16ft drain and weighed 6 1/2lb from memory. This shot shows how different the teeth on a zander are to a pike. This pike was a p.b from the North level main drain and weighed 31lb 4oz. I will never forget the day i caught this fish. Caught it on a float ledgered herring tail. Another pike from the South Holland main drain which weighed just over 22lb caught one boxing day a few years ago. Notice the washed out colour of the pike.
  2. Cracking rifle for the money, bought mine brand new last October primarily as a ratting gun (have fac for rabbit) but have bagged pleny of rabbits too. I find the cocking system a piece of piss to use and the new bsa mags are excellent. I mount my ns200 nv kit on the ultra which being short and lightweight is the ideal platform for nightvision imo. Since the pic below was taken i have fitted a cctv camera battery which does away with the trailing wire..
  3. definatley worth asking mate. I originally just asked for open fac air but ended up with an open ticket for everything on my license. optelic2

  9. Hi ukhunter. Thanks for your input, always good to hear from people that have used and been sucessfull with different bits of kit. Not being a techy person here can you explain how you captured your recording to your computer from the JXD Then how you put that either onto a forum or youtube? Do you need a editing suit, is it essential to have a suit? Sorry to bombard you with questions mate ATB. Bill. Hi Bill, the guy ive pm'd on another forum about the jxd leads said that he had to make a set up to enable him to link the jxd to the nitesite. Said he

  15. Hello mate i had a really good night with 16 confirmed rat kills. My digi camera is dead so had to take pic on my coal fired mobile phone so will load pic up later when i get in from work. I had a cool experience while shooting mate which i'd like to share..let me explain.. Before shooting i opened the doors on two of the big grain stores then went for a mooch around the small piggery for half an hour. I came back to one of the barns and shot a rat about 20 feet up on a roof beam. The rat dropped into the grain and a barn owl then swooped down and landed next to it and sat watching the

  19. Sounds good Bill! Im jeaolous! let me know how you get on with it mate. I went ratting for an hour last night and shot 6 but it was same old story trying to find the bodies in the maze of broken pallets and heaps of rubble and wood. Would have shot more i reckon but for some lads with a smoker who had been around earlier in the day.
  20. Lol nice one Bill . Ive had an email off a guy on another forum and he reckons the jxd unit is fine to use on the ns200 so i may take the plunge that is as soon as ive mot'd, taxed, and insured the disco at the end of the month . Although the other unit you have al ink to looks really good! On a brighter note the weather has improved out here so im off after the rats with the ultra tonight after work Mick
