  1. My mate has a howa 1500 stainless with a laminate stock (not varmint barrel). It is bullet on bullet at 100yds with hornady 40gr v-max. A very nice gun that knocks big holes in foxes.
  2. If you've got .22lr, FAC air is a waste of time. Get some 35ft/lb bulets (CCI 29gr 710fps), these will do what a good FAC air rifle will do without spending hundreds of pounds. Edit: It will probably be quieter too with a half decent mod.
  3. The is a good choice if you are going to go FAC with it. The 95 is better if you're staying sub 12ft/lb. Both very similar guns, but the is a bit "bulkier" to take a bit more power with ease.
  4. Daft as it sounds, it would probably be 5 times the price at a gun shop. (just like everything else shooting related, we get robbed)
  5. I'd like to try that, but I think the .243 would make a new hole in the pan, and turn the wood to sawdust!
  6. theres a big differance between a roo and a rabbit about 7 ft My point exactly!
  7. I see you vapourised it's head at that range . Wht do you wan't to use a .223 when the .243 does the job so well?
  8. They shoot roos from a chopper. You'd need a damn good pilot to hold it steady to take a bunny.
  9. Just like mine. No "K" to be seen.
  10. That's strange. Mine isn't. Look again at what I posted. The one on the market 2 years ago was not shorter.
  11. Get what you feel comfortable with, but shop around, those prices are not too keen. £620 for a T3 Hunter is £70 over priced.
  12. It's all about precision. My mate took a rabbit at 312yds with a 9x mag. He had to wait until it turned side-on so that the cross hairs didn't "blank it out". It would have been so much easier with a 16 or 20x.
