what the feck are bullaces i take it there eadible/drinkable? ive made up abit of "bigberry" vodka aswell see what thats like and just off to get the "littleberrys" out the freezer. gonna try an almond batch after hearing good things about it. cheers all, maty. -
just won a videocorder on ebay so should have a few soon with abit of luck Ian. may take a while to figure how to get them off the camera and onto here etc but should get there in the end need to get it first....once this postal strike is over :realmad:

yeah i remember that phrase think it was MC refereing to H&J after he siad he tasted one. just checked the bush were i got the big berries off and theres no thorns that i could see so must be damsons then i guess. i did half defrost one and it wasnt particually nice, quite sour actually but nothing like the little berries that must be the real sloes. so insted of making sloe gin, and spiced sloe gin ive made them but with damsons hope it'll taste nice all the same. these ones i cut into are white with a hint of greenish but so are the damsons to complicate things theres a fair few -

just been out to get some pics. i put one of the little berrys in my mouth and bit into it after i took the pic. it was reasonably hardish and as soon as i bit into it my mouth felt like it shrunk so im guessing the little ones are sloes?? at this size are they ready to be picked? there quite tight still were as the big berry in the pic, when i picked them they were quite soft. im guessing the big one is a damson then? i tried to get it to stand up in the picture but it was frozen and was slipping all over the place but it was a bit bigger anyway. i did notice when i took them out the f -
i know i know, a stupid question but ive searched google quickly and cant find anythingso were better than here to find out? ive picked a few of what i thought were sloes, big purple berries with a dusting of white on them that came off when you touched it. these berries were about a quarter of the size of the top section of your thumb. now i was out looking ysterday for some more and found some smaller berries approx half the size of the top section of your little finger. now are these just young sloes, damsons or if i drink them will i go blind just got me wondering as i found some of the s

sure ive read somewere that you cant have any signal receiving devices or something like that. supose they think its easy enough to just unplug it if anyone comes round and checks. best check with them though saves any fines for mis-interpretation then

looks a very nice mesh netrigger, welldone chalkwarren; does the crossbraid make much difference in the amount of debris the net picks up. cheers,

had a huge wasp nest in a hole a few weeks ago when i was out. thought the hole was a bit big but still looked in. saw a few wasps coming out, put the 2 together and didnt stick around!!! i had a look from a safe distance and they was a fair few buzzing around it!

mine dont complain, the ferrets dont get much only a trout now and again but usually eat it all up. the dog gets any reduced fish or fish slabs chunks whatever you want to call them...as mark says brings the coat up nice especially the oily fish. cheers,

i set mine approx every 5 yds. saves the top line being dragged down too much but other longnetters have a bigger space between poles. horses for courses again....

i was planning on making a bit of ziderr this year got the apples still here but still waiting on the press.....only been waiting about a month now so goes without saying really the apples are starting to shrivel!! anyway just went out to get some sloes insted of the cider now. got a few nice big ones all off 1 tree, most were allready shrivelled but still i had a few. i went to another spot were i noticed a few last year and they were all small, perhaps size of your index finger nail. there was plenty off them and no bigger ones on the tree at all so are they still growing or could i pick the

if there owt like AA there could be a safety valve thingy that ditches the air under about 50bar. as has been said use a bottle. ive heard cocking it first can sometimes get it to take the charge so something to try??

not a bad DVD. the camera work was abit wog eye with shake but think that could of been the wind up there and the long distances the filmer was from the action. worth a watch though for a few quid.

sounds bad jasp, if you call the fuzz next time ask long they will be. obviosly shortest time possible so the kids are still there when cops turn up. for definate, if the cops say 5 mins they will be late or any time they will be late for that matter. give the fuzz 5 mins or whatever they said to turn up trying to keep the lads there or whatever and if the cops arnt there in 5 mins call back up and say they wont be bothering you again so the panda car wont need to come out afterall as you have just shot the main one and the others ran off then so its all sorted what would they send out th

keep us posted Fledge. ive got loads of pipe here pvc and cast iron, think the cast could be abit heavy though id imagine you just epoxyed the ignitor in or other glue but the screw end has got me. do you buy the pipe ready threaded, glue a threaded end on or thread it yourself?? any ideas?? maty.

apparently badger isnt too bad ditch, was talking to someone who aid they knew someone who tryed it or along those lines! very fatty though, when your skinning it you get covered in it, but overall the meat wasnt too bad. his mates didnt complain till he told them what it was this was a young one specifically chosen for the pot. cheers,

seen these a few times and wouldnt mind having a go at one. only thing i was concerned is if the pressure builds too much or too fast and the pipe blows sending shattared plastic into your face. would you have to thread the end of the pipe to fit the screw bit onto the end or is it slotted in and glued in place. last option sounds a bit risky
