The classic saying weve all heard so many times before....find a job you love and never work a day in your life....i see how true it is in the case of my dad. His not had a day off sick in over 12 years and never heard him once talk about jacking it in. Infact he still comes home talks about cases with the same interest and excitment as when he first started.

Gave me goosebumps watching that, beautiful story and moment to have captured on film. Amazing the bond you can get with animals. Wouldnt mind spending a month volunteering to help at a park or rescue place getting dirty n up close with em. Trouble is the countries arent safe enough for me to think about visiting. Where i live now i love, its not rich but its not poor like my old area. Everyone goes to work and is comfortable i would say. Believe it or not, well i couldnt having live where i did. 99% of people here are english. What a different world it is for me when i moved here and everyone actually smiles and says good morning lol. Funnily enough it being so nice makes me want to keep it that way. Every sunday i grab 2 pints of milk and the paper for an old boy who lives on my road a few houses up. Wouldnt dream of throwing any litter on the floor. Ive never been but i hope to one day. Right on the doorstep so no excuses really. Never meet anyone from ireland who doesnt like a drink either so expect id like it. On my way home and sisters rang me asking what time mum finishes work. New job so told her i aint sure. Get in and sisters there with her best mate n her old man. Never would go up a moutain lol. First ever holiday we had to tenerife my dad decides lets all go up mout teide. Get a taxi up there and then he says its a 30 minute walk until you reach the centre place on there. We walked up for over an hour n half before thinking weve done something wrong or been lied too lol. Noone had a phone dont know if it would of been much good anyway or even a drop of water. Walking for ages and after a while start seeing cars so try to get a lift down. Noone stopped apart from one couple who spoke little english. Ended up giving em twice as what we paid the taxi jus

Yeah thats it and id sooner go out on a plane than get old and loose my marbles n get ill. nice and quick and like you say would be a wicked adrenaline rush. Only downside is people would be screaming on the way down n rather go out in peace n quiet.

French bulldog was like that but the idiot wanted to fight. Would pull like a steam train in the lead too. Truth is at first i hated the dog and she would be no more if it wasnt the families dog. Feel bad as its just clear the first owner done f**k all with her n shes abit of a nightmare. Now im the only one in the house who can walk her and have to just road walk her.
