Never had any fear of planes infact i quite like em lol love the taking off and landing. Remember coming from holiday once and was some bad turbulence. Quite enjoyed that too until people would start making all sorts of sounds n kids crying their eyes out lol. Only thing i dont like is the feeling of no control but at same time the fear is abit of a buzz.

Just out of interest how old is ed reid now? Even looks old in the photos with his dogs years back. Still had his marbles mind you when i saw him a few years back.

Would you say to some degree the dogs over here have had it? I mean one looking the wrong way and can end up loosing the dog. Our society is abit of a joke too, god help anyone keeping their dogs in shape. Everyone seems to have fat mutts and thinks anything in shape looks skinny. Just compare to abroad things here arent really in your favour.

Not read ed farrons book but remember when it was due to be coming out. Used to have ca jacks tips book but god knows what happened to it. Wouldnt mind having the bible in my collection. Am sure zinetti brought a book out too but never had a look st that. Would buy it but no doubt will piss me off and make me want to go out and buy a staff even more lol.

Simple man- lynyrd skynrd.....first discovered the song watching a pitbull youtube video and was at an age where it actually really made sense to me and the words meant something....while in the mood for childhood songs type thing also just put on ben e king...what a film and old mans telling me to read the book so gonna give hat a read.

To be honest i cant properly read a pedigree lol if i see a few names or dogs related through siblings thats about as good as i get. Them boys abroad can no doubt keep alot more dogs though and doubt anyone gets to see the shit. In terms of % are they they producing the best dogs?

Anyone got any opinions on breeding? Never had a real interest in it but another subject thats got so many different ideas and opinions. I know pedigrees dont make the dogs but people have their own ideas on what increases the chances of producing good dogs. Can say worker to worker but given the choice bet everyone would rather something bred tight than scatterbred. Maybe peoples opinions on breeding terriers can be crossed over for pits and vise versa.

Have seen some pits that look really bully like. I know alot of people try to "recreate" the old bulldog and sell the pups for a heavy price. Is a few different breeds of bulldog where people have attempted it. Saw a bully looking pit which i thought pissed over peoples attempts to be honest. Huge block head with an underbite jaw and a lovely lean 38lb body, fit and able to do anything asked. Wasnt bred to look any certain way just came out like that and only saw photos of the parents but they looked sod all like a bulldog and just your typical pit.

Got in the car with a stranger who i had spoke with a few times from another forum having just turnt 16. Didnt know where we was going until that morning when i called. Poor sod had to drive over 6hours and was refusing to take any money for it. Followed him to the car to say bye and had to throw the money in and walk away. Dont know if my post sounded as if my dog is unfit lol. She certainly isnt and is walked. Some may remember i even had one dumb bird tell me she looks skinny and didnt have a come back when i showed her the difference. There isnt no real need to get her in shape i was just kind of wanting to see how she would look.

Come downstairs to eat my dinner that i didnt want earlier. Flick on channel 4 n caught a mum n daughter running a brothel. The mum goes on about how they get in the xmas spirit and are having a raffle for charity. Prizes are times with a girl of your choice lol thought f***ing hell. I already had a dog from em, cost me sod all they spoke about an upcoming breeding. Said it sounded good and put me down for a pup i dont care if it costs me a grand. Turned around n said, "how much you pay for that one?" replied nothing and got told "exactly we dont give a shit about the money". I would be the same even with a pet breed like my french bulldog. If i had a litter the right home would be more important than the money. Wouldnt care if it was 2k and i know many might just say that but its my morals and concious. Said it so many times but why is it people in powerful positions doing it with others type thing? If anyone came into anyones work and even mentioned anything like it theyd get a good kick in and reported to the old bill. I just dont get how so many involved and nothing was ever done. It is deffo an obsession lol I havent had a staff in a few years now. Still cant help but walk past a decent looking dog n wonder how itll look in better shape. Or look at forums and have a read. In my opinion no other dogs compare, and if i won the lottery id still have a huge house with aload of em. Some what kept me out of trouble aswell being so obsessed with the dogs. Plus would just get out the area n go places id have no reason too and walk the dog. Know exactly where that house would be if i won the lottery because of the dog walking lol either enysford or westerham for me.

With shyness in dogs is alot of it down to the owners? no doubt you get dogs who just have it in em to be shy abit like man biters. Can it be fixed though? Didnt see this dog as a pup but it may not of been shy if the owner didnt have so many dogs that he couldnt put as much time in as i could. What is meant aswell by not having a bond with the dog? every bull breed ive meet has loved people. Couldnt imagine one not bonding. Someone told me once that they cant get the dog to bond with em. Yeah this dog i mentioned was like nothing i had seen before but never seen anyone who kept a real large amount of dogs. Was embarassing walking him if someone went to stroke him when out hed get down real low as if been beaten. Same as if a bus or something went past. Wouldnt flinch or anything though and when pointed out why it was like that you could tell it was different to being abused. That I guess was shyness which is probably different to not being able to build a bond? Have seen a dog who was far from shy but owner reckoned he couldnt get the dog to bond with him. I am sure i remember someone saying before they actually prefer to take the runt. Everyones different i guess, if offered a pup and it was the last one and a runt i gotta admit id feel as if ive drawn the short straw lol.

Forgot to say i saw a nice white staff when out today. Came running over to my dog n thought ah here we go. Was good as gold though probably most laid back dog ive ever seen. Anyway talking with the owner as we walked and she tells me how much she walks the dog, believe her aswell as i always see her n the dogs her life. Funny thing is its really overweight, bragging to me about the junk she gives it. Even has a roast on a sunday with all the gravey. Nothing wrong in spoiling the dog abit but amount she walks the dog it should never be fat.

End of the day cant be no real way of telling if a pup will be a good dog or everyone would save themselves alot of time. If there was an amazing breeding and only a shy pup would anyone not take the gamble on it? I would still take the pup just make sure i put more time n effort into the dog. Being honest I would of anyway not like I ever kept loads of dogs. Had a dog from someone who had alot of dogs and compare to mine it was like the dog had been abused. Even called the bloke up but he explained the situation but was real shy, was lovely watching him come out his shell though n after

Did it work out in terms of percentages for how many dogs you raised from pup and how many turnt out good? I actually have never gone to a litter and picked out a pup have had pups but just not from as early as that.
