  2. not a collie cross fan at all but that is a very nice bitch indeed and can obviously do what she was bred for, well done nice to see.
  3. cracking looking bitch well done.
  4. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...492&hl=ianm
  5. tripe is superb for dogs, every mineral and vitamin they need is in tripe.
  6. Nice dogs, shame about the shorts.
  7. Lurcherlass, a lot of good work does get done by the odd rescue organisation but these are in the minority. I take it from the above that you dont work as looking after that lot is a full time job in itself. I have three lurchers and i walk them 1 hour every morning and 2 hours at night so if you did about the same and took 4 at a time that would be 12 hours a day just walking dogs!!!! Then you would need to feed them, clean bedding, feed and water chickens and the same again with the rabbit and gerbils and i suppose you would have the audacity to want to eat yourself How much kip do y
  8. Nice little bitch, by the way they dont have to be big to be good.
  9. I really couldnt be bothered with all the bullshit and bollocks that comes with "adopting" a dog these days. In my opinion they should be gratefull someone is willing to give a dog a home and leave it at that. However as with most things now "someone" wants to control every aspect of what you do, i think you are leaving yourself open to interference from people that dont share the same values as you. Its your choice of course, but i just couldnt let someone dictate to me what i do with my own dog, then again it will never be your own dog it will allways belong to them. What if it makes an abso
  10. It all depends where you are running, but i have bred a couple of bitches this way and for me they have just about everything i need. Where i live speed is esential its no use having a dog that can stay forever if it cant even put a bend in. The 3/4 bred offers a combination of speed, stamina and gameness if bred properly however if you are going on the fens you would pobably want 3/4 saluki, slower but more wind.
  11. Good going, if i had known i would of come with my 15 month old pup it needs a kill.
  12. blue boy nice type of dog, would be ideal over a good Greyhound bitch or a whippet/ Greyhound
  13. Very nice little bitch and imo cheap it would have cost the asking price to rear to this age. Good luck with her.
  14. Drontal is what i use but where can i get ivomec.
  15. my old bitch killed all sorts of things but i suppose the most unusual was a little owl she killed on the lamp.
  16. If you have a good greyhound bitch and by that i mean one that works well and is constitutionaly sound then the choice really is what do you want the offspring to do. The permetations are endless Saluki, Saluki/Greyhound, Whippet, Whippet/Greyhound, etc all down to what you want really. However if the bitch comes up short in any dept i wouldnt bother breeding from her as i am sure you will agree.
  17. looks a handy sort, how is he bred? does he retrieve hares?
  18. I,ve had a blitz for about 5 or 6 years and it has performed faultlessly, is it only recent lamps that the wiring is sub standard on?
  19. I have quite a few mates up that way and they tell me there are a lot of p***y camps there. I would be looking there first.
