My sister had a positive test a few weeks ago but wasn't ill, neither were my 87 yr old parents that she lives with. When the bloke from the nhs track and trace phoned her, he said about 30% of the results are wrong.

I am pleased you have been offered work, well done.
-
Yes good luck with the interviews. I have been lucky all my life with employment never actually being without it. It must be both frustrating and concerning when unemployment happens. I am sure one or both will offer you a job.

We used to send ours wrapped in brown paper tied with string to a furriers called Cobbledicks i think it was. The top price was twenty five pounds and he paid the postage. My wage at the time was fifty pounds a week.

Yes you are right there. In the seventies i made more than my wages skinning foxes for the fur trade and catching rabbits with lurchers.

Every year i like to get out on new years night but the weather this year certainly wasn't conducive to foxing. I decided to give it a miss and go on the night of Jan the second instead. The owner of a farm localish and caravan park had sent me a message asking when could i go again as he had heard foxes calling all around the farm. It seemed a good place to start the year off, so i made arrangements with my mate to pick him up at seven thirty and carry on to the farm. This is the place that had the dimwit horses out earlier in the year but are now safely stabled indoors and can't interfere wi

What ammo are you using?
-
Yes! but you're "speshul".?

Was his needing a new barrel down to cleaning it or the amount of rounds he put through it? I suspect the latter. A few years ago Edgar bros stated that the cz hmr was only good for seven thousand rounds, it will probably be the same for all manufacturers.

Happy new year everyone, lets hope it's better than the last one. Oh! and happy brexit, at last!

I got a phone call yesterday morning to shoot the afternoon. Tier 4 was anticipated in our area and so we made the most of it. There where a few guns missing but we managed sixty eight head with what we had.

Good going in shitty weather!

Well the 410 day went well. Weather was nice for a change, no rain! The total bag was sixty five head. I let my grandson shoot the last drive. He has never shot my 410 but he did alright with it. He killed a nice dark cock pheasant (his first ) and a normal coloured cock.

I watched that the other night when it came out. Looking very suave there Mr Stav. I was a little disappointed to discover you are not the 9' 14" i thought you where.? It is our 410 shoot tomorrow for charity, which i really enjoy. We do it every year and everyone bungs a hundred quid in. The proceeds go to a local childrens hospice, we always get about 2.5k for them. It isn't really about shooting just having a good laugh and raising a few quid for the kids. The farmers daughter in law who lives next to our shoot cabin puts food on for us at 12,o,clock. Then about one we go an

24lbs for a vixen is unbelievably big, yes twice the average weight.

Duck flighting and pigeon shooting are my favourite forms of shotgun shooting.

Racing fox, it ran at white city.?

Yesterday i took my eleven year old grandson to the clay ground with his 28g auto because he hasn't been able to get much shooting done due to covid. On Sundays we always go to the game shoot to top up the feeders and clean the drinkers etc. This week we had to fill all the wheelie bins up with bags of wheat, one ton of it. Anyway he got the job of loading the quad up and bringing the bags to us waiting at the woods. He had a good day riding about on the quad. We decided we would go to the ponds at the other side of the shoot to flight ducks tonight. All these ponds are fed for wild mallard an

Foxes need to be weighed really to get a true perspective of size. I have had a few nineteen pounders this year and one twenty but the longest was only about sixteen.
