  1. Charge them a tenner a trap for any damaged or stolen traps.
  2. Sticks sure do improve accuracy in airgunning don't they? I'm surprised more lads don't use 'em....
  3. I just think that there's a great opening for asking Packham, May and SNP shouters a few questions that show their animal rights for what they are. What's their opinion of it?
  4. Nicola Sturgeon once sat on a bus next to a Mussie so think she would be in favour of Halal slaughter f**k it blame the "Religion of Peace" anyway I always thought you were a c**t now I know you are lolol another easily fended Muslim. Ffs desertbred I thought you were made of tougher stuff Just remind me what has Halal slaughter got to do with the Hunting Ban as for easily offended LOL you certainly don t know me I'm fairly sure it was to highlight the double standards in the politics. That one minorities foreign cultural practices are considered untouchable and yet another's (ours)
  5. I'd like to know the SNP's views on Halal slaughter.....
  6. Just be careful buying second hand without a trial........ They are a top-class bit of kit, and I wish I'd have had one 15 years ago, it might have saved a bit of head ache and hassle. I rate them highly. One thing worth remembering is not to upgrade them, just leave them as they are.
  7. true they wouldn't , and hunts and most farmers do get on, as they let them on there ground in the 1st place. I know its hard to support fox hunting with horse/ hounds , as you say they don't give a shit about people with running dogs,as most don't wont you on the ground any way, they didn't want you on the ground 100 years ago , and they don't want you on now, nothing changed true . But we got try to all stick together with hunting in general , either with dogs, guns, birds, fishing rods , we all out in the countryside doing one or the other . it is hard for people with runni
  8. Best to leave plants out of a koi pond, say you need to treat for parasites like trcihodina and have to use potassium permanganate it will kill the plants so will a lot of other treatments, plus koi will much the plants around the base and make the water cloudy. I'm heavily involved with koi and don't many people with raided ponds who have plants I didn't know it was a Koi pond. I am only speaking from experience with blanket weed myself in just a standard garden pond. Obviously carp will destroy almost any plant....
  9. You need plants in there mate. Get some lilys and some pondweed if you can. AVOID duckweed at all costs!
  10. I've got four bushnells and I'm always careful where I set them up. I often camouflage them. If I chained one to a tree like the pics, someone would bring bolt croppers and get it.
  11. The public don't vote Lucky. It's the MP's that vote. We will have to see what the outcome is after the vote. I think that there's a good chance of the amendments going through...... This is NOT the repeal, just an amendment with regards the amount of dogs allowed, and some tweeks (in our favour) of terrierwork. Fingers Crossed!
  12. the chap in question was Clifford Pelow, and i'm led to believe that he was banned from being a hunt member anywhere, for his cruelty. Can anybody confirm it? He has said some very silly things.......
  13. Get the dog to the vets, get it whipped off. If possible ask for removal of both. They'll be healed within a few weeks and you'll have no more bother for the rest of the dogs life.
  14. Assuming the proposed amendment is successful, and this is just the first step to something more substantial re repeal, what would you guess the next step would be JD? It was obvious the hunt would be served first, how can you see them getting a result of any sort for the likes of us Hi , if this amendment is successful then the next step would be a free vote on a repeal. BUT I can tell you right now that we are not ready for this yet. A repeal could make matters worse for some of us, so unless the Ban is going to be repealed in it's entirety then I do not think we should repeal. It's all a
  15. 16. I'd love it if he turns out to be the next Rolf Harris!!
  17. Great bit of footage. It get's you revved up to see lamping at this time of year when we're all looking forward to the season. It's a little bit jumpy, if you want any tips on how to film lamping with a fluid motion drop me a pm. I've spent 25 years perfecting the technique.... All the best JD
  18. great pics....... Brown Hawker you mean??

.177 is plenty adequate for all the airgunners quarry. I've shot thousands of rabbits with my .177. If you body shot a rabbit close to cover then it doesn't matter if you use a .22 or a .177, they're going to get away into the cover. At that range you should have taken the head shot, so blame yourself and not the calibre....
  21. Another thing worth remembering about a repeal....it might not improve anything for the working dog man. Cameron can't just wave a magic wand and hey presto it's back to 2004. Those days are never coming back and competitive coursing will never come back, it will forever again be illegal. However, in the repeal process different things get voted on. So it means things might get worse for some, not better. That's why things cannot be rushed. There's a hell of alot of MP's against us, their minds won't be changed. Be under no illusion, Cameron wants it repealed, but that doesn't mean it will be
  22. Why name the duke 116 for squirrels only, when you could use it in the clone guise for rabbits and mink as well? The Duke is just about identical to the BMI..
