had a walk out today with 2 nice collie greyhounds.....nice solid dogs, well boned and possessing excellent noses...

i beleive they cost about £60 for my pair, but the price is coming down. Currently argos had a set of four for £60 and i know they are good. These BT ones have great range on them. Personally , i would never try to beat woods or go lamping without them....Its so invaluable to know whats going on...

i bought these two walkie talkies early this season and have found them to be invaluable in many ways. i would recommend them to anyone for their respective pursuits. Communications can be vital and i was reminded of this only the other week. My mates dog had ran a roe we had accidentally spooked and his dog disappeared...My mate waited where we had last seen the dog whilst i went looking for him, i eventually found him nearly half a mile away around the other end of a sewage works. The dog had been unable; to return due to a very high fence....whats could have been a disaster had a happy endi

yes wire, we had to go get the car to pick them up...i took the pics some hours after the deer were dead....you know they were taken during daylight...

Hi Mack, basically, from what i know it is still legal to hunt fox with terriers for the preservation of game birds.....be they pheasant, partridge, grouse etc....of course, i would expect wild bird shoots to fall into this catagory also...regards JD

i went for a walk yesterday evening just before darkness crept across our countryside. Managed to bag three muntys with scoob and he missed two "easy" ones as well! -_- the last one was a nice buck, but his antlers are nothing to shout about. Are these the last deer to be taken legally in the uk?...a sad day no doubt about it....regards JD

Stopped?!! christ, i never got started...the rabbit situation round here is very bleak. went ferreting the other monday for nearly four hours and caught nothing. !!! i wish i lived where there is more game, but i dont! i hope that the bunnies bounce back this summer and the dreaded myxi stays well away....JD
