    Nice pup, my mate had dog the same way bred as yours, and it was great dog.He was 27in 70lb, good on foxes+hares and not bad on rabbits.This was in 90, for his breeding he had good stamina,as good as any 1x.

    I think it comes down to [how] much fox work pre ban the dog would do.? Most lurchers will do a [few] foxes.But to kill say 3-4 foxes a night [3-4 nights aweek.The is only bullxs of the [right stuff] that will handle that. Ihad a colliexgrey 26in 70lb back in late 80s, that could kill foxes easy. But as good as he was,not many can handle [serious] work of the above

    Hi carl, regards fit for work, yes i do run mine with the bike.I DO [12]MILES AWEEK. jusy 2-3 times aweek,dont forget this is with [lamping] him as well,its just to keep is wind up.? with jumping fences a 23in dog should [still get over a [5 bar gate] jumping+good bags Bryn is 25in dog.?

    Not really, i agree with Whin that 23- 26in and shape he said makes a good lurcher,and you will find that most lads would say the same.Not everybody wants a 20-22in dog

    Spot on, ive lost ground through talking about my sport. When ive been just walking my dog, people have asked what type of dog is it, you say lurcher.They say are those dogs that kill rabbits and ..................?.You say no the dog does pest control, to control the rabbits not kill them all. I had [90]acres once, where a keeper let me lamp it.But these [pricks] who lived on the ground, didnt like to see lamps about, and told the keeper that if they see any more they would tell the [land owner] to have it stopped. That was the end of me [ALL because] me talking to a friend of them pricks

    yep, my dog now Bryn is 25in 60lb, and he is very agile, and dont really miss much and my other good catch dogs were 25-26in.
