Had mate had [salukixgrey xcolliexgrey] in the 's , it was 27in 70lb. It was great on all game[hares, foxes, rabbits, deer,] A real good dog,it was quite biddable, rabbits always brought back to hand, good on fox . This is a x i would get in the future
Had colliexgrey, and [just about catch a rabbit]and nervy temp .Got another colliexgrey, and alot better dog great on rabbit, and had a few bigger rabbits+brill temp If you can get a [good] one and the word is [good]one they make good lurchers, will take most quarry.
Yep clever dogs, my 2 clever picked up training easy, and my 1/4 bull x done wwll on rabbits for a 70lb dog. had a pure bitch and she was clever dog a 1/4 bull in a lurcher is a good thing, give's that bit of extra drive+guts in a saluki x or collie x
ye i guess they would make a decent dogs but i would rather get a half collie x then you have the best both ways i.e still got the brains and also quick enough incase you do see owt when out mouching
Spot on 1/2 collie is more than enough
unless this a wind up, you with the wrong woman.?? If you or who ever looks after the dog-dogs = walking, feeding, getting up dog crap. And if they dont do anything towards the dogs [wellfare], they carnt tell you what+how many dogs you have.? They maybe right ,but it should come from you,be your own man? thats what my wife said as i say i think you are with the wrong woman
Nice pup Sam, with the breeding you should tackle any quarry. . Looks fast aswell, when they are like that, try to take it easy if you can.As can take a while to [get it all together]? This time nex year it will be spot on Ray
start them now at [5] months old,and you [could] be getting rid at [12]months old for [yaping]or not running stuff. wait till its [12]months old. :thumb
