    Hi, Interested to hear people’s experiences with what pellets they’re using in their HW97KTs … bought a couple of tins of H&N FTT in 5.53 size. Are these likely to be any good? Won’t get a chance to try them for a week or so.

    The 8fps spread over those 100+ shots I never had with my vanilla HW100KT… but yes upgrades are always victims of the laws of diminishing returns. But it feels a fantastic rifle now in the field - admittedly it was very good before too!

    Hi Villaman … yes the cost is a lot for sure but these improvements turn a great rifle into an exceptional one. How much again is Daystate’s new gun!!???

    Yes it is lighter - then then it holds air at higher pressure so a bit heavier, I guess!

    First proper outing for the HW100KT since the full works from HW100TUNING! 250-bar titanium cylinder / HUMA regulator, firing internals etc…using JSB Heavies 10.34 grains .177 ?

    Lovely job! And great to hear of your hunting in NZ! Why don’t you write a regular diary about shooting in NZ, the restrictions, the quarry, the land etc... would be a brilliant read! I’m curious, for example, about what FAC is like in a springer v sub 12 ft/lbs.

    Well, after getting back into shooting this past year, I've spent pretty much most of it trying to get some permissions again. Covid-19 put a stop to a lot of my efforts but just now I visited the farm where I used to shoot some 12 years ago. Have some very happy memories there ( I think I wrote a couple of hunting diaries here). Met the new owner today and he said "yes plse come and shoot, my wife is always complaining about the rabbits!) Fantastic news! Some pix from my shooting there all those years ago...

    Newly-acquired used. Tnb kit fitted. Trigger sears polished. Hitting spinners at 55 yards four times out of 5. Beautiful rifle.
