  1. Yes Rex - post is so old imageshack deleted the images ???
  2. Took myself back down memory lane reading these posts
  3. What’s the situation now? Has anything been properly clarified?
  4. Beautiful rifle! Yes, hoping for decent bags ... in search for permissions Berkshire way at the moment!
  5. Thank you Mark yes excellent advice and I try to do this .... funnily enough, more effectively standing and just resting the rifle on my right wrist so it does indeed have the ability to move with the recoil.
  6. Well went up to the club this morning and put 500 pellets through the TX200HC. After a dozen or so shots got a reasonable zero sorted at thirty yards before refining things and technique further. I really like the .22 calibre. The rifle fires with a reassuring “thud” and a little bit of recoil, enough to let you know it’s a springer but nothing like a kicking mule. To the cheek, it feels perfect ... well balanced and “snug”. I’m using JSB Exacts 5.52s they seem to be great for this rifle. After an hour benchresting targets at 30 yards, tried some standing, but supported shots. Was really
  7. Haha! Yes most likely will upgrade the scope it at some point but funds are tight after this gun and two HW100KT rifles bought this month too! To be honest, the glass on it is great, even at low light, only issue really the max x9 magnification and simple cross hairs. Today I will zero it in and see how it goes
  8. Thank you! Sony A7R3 + 24-70GM @ 2.8F + 70-200GM @ F2.8
  9. Finally, today I picked up the TX200HC (in .22, somewhat rare these days). What a beauty! Will be testing her out tomorrow morning.
  10. BTW, if I had any criticism of the 100KT, it's the trigger blade. Would much prefer a "set-back" metal one...rather than the plastic one this is...
  11. My fiancee loved my HW100KT rifle so much - I got her one for her birthday! Bargain too. Two weeks old and £550
  12. Well, greater shot to shot consistency and 120% increase in shot count. And loads of optimisations / improvements inside. I’ll take that ?
  13. Well, I haven't had the rifle for more than two weeks and I've already been bad Just ordered the HW100 Tuning Option 3 = HWT 250bar Complete Cylinder, Service & Fine Tune ????
  14. Well, I am soon to pick up this lovely TX200HC rifle in L/H walnut guise and .22. I had intended to buy the .177 but a bit of a mix up at AA means that they delivered a .22 instead to my favourite gun shop. I had said I'd wait for the .177 to arrive, but after shooting the .22 - and a couple of days later - I have decided to go for the .22. It was so damn smooth. It'll complement perfectly the HW100 .177 I bought at the same store. While I adore the HW100 (I've had two before, sold them and getting back into it now) , something inside me says to the TX is going to be SOOOO much more satisfying
  15. Yes £550 is fair...and demand is greater for .177.
  16. WTF!!! WOW!!!! What NV you using?
  17. It'll be .177 - and willdo! Edit: I used to have a fair few rifles ... this was my collection between 1990 and 2013: Webley Typhoon .22 (why did I ever sell this!!??) Webley Hawke .22 rifle Weihrauch HW100KT (probably the finest rifle I've ever owned) .177 - two of these, one BTAS-tuned. Theoben Rapid Mk 2 FAC 30ft/lb .22 (The Beast!) Ben Taylor fettled Air Arms S410 . 22 (my first PCP after moving to Berkshire in 2006) Air Arms TX200 HC .177 (beautiful springer) Weihrauch HW95k V-Glide .22 (beautifully smooth to shoot, not quite as accurate
  18. Love this post - can’t wait to get my TX200HC within the week! No Mark I’m not stalking you!!!????
  19. This made me smile. Getting back into shooting again. Don’t have any gear after selling the rifles in 2013. Thinking of starting with the TX200HC and going from there ? Ten years is a long time!
  20. Good shooting. I'd recommend the Tracer LEDRay GL2 or GL4. Owned the GL2 myself and it was very good indeed. Buy from here: http://www.deben.com/gun-lights.html
  21. Wow -- sensational video and I'm gobsmacked by the accuracy of that HW97K tuned rifle. But it is also down to the quality of the shooter, so don't forget that. Anyway, great job.
