  1. Hello mate. Just leave it in a shed with a cheap old padlock on the door. It will be gone in no time. A farmer down the road has a Mule that he thought was quite secure. The rabbit shooters found it all strapped up ready to be lifted over a hedge. No sign of the thieves though. Good luck.
  2. Well the lad has certainly been "EDUCATED" me thinks
  3. Hi. I believe they used to be very high on the game list and gave good sport if they gained some height. I have eaten them and they are very tasty. The trick is to skin them and breast them. Add the breast to stews to thicken them. Gamekeepers dislike them as they like to kill ducklings by drowning them. I do not know how fishermen rate them though. Special shoots were held years ago on the broads and hundreds were killed by guns in flat bottomed boats. Not sure of spelling-broads,broards in Norfolk, lincolnshire? Bryan.
  4. Hi. I use the plastic traps with the little bait trays. They are called "the big cheese" I use a small pea sized piece of chocolate superglued to tray. The chocky is quite hard and the mice can't bite bits off without springing the trap. Also the bait stays attached even when sprung and therfore can be reset without having to find more bait. Good luck. Bryan.
  5. NOT to mention the money being wasted on the olympics

  11. She said her partner was born to hunt (the act,not the member with that user name) She also would not name her partner and that did make her look like a bunny hugging arspca supporting anti. Thats how I remember it anyhow. ATB-Bryan.
  12. Hi Folks. I was following the saga of FIFI*FOX*who I thought was more iffi than fifi. Something must of happened and I missed the outcome. Somebody please tell. ATB-Bryan.
  13. Harry mac, well done ,that was brilliant,I loved the way you put that together. I think that I would add that the second lot of folks who tend to call for tests are the plebs at the bottom who gained their stalking the hard way. They are trying to reduce the competition from others wanting to get in on the action.
  14. Hello Folks. I think its a pity the way things are going with tests and licences for just about everything. However, surely its wrong that a city w banker can use his vast wealth to buy land or shooting rights and arm himself and endanger other people just because he fancies a new hobby. Similarly he can walk into a hire shop or machinery outlet and purchase a chainsaw and do all kinds of damage. Yet on a building site you have to have a certificate to replenish the loo paper in the portaloo, unless your eastern european and then rules do not apply. Its becomin
  15. Hi Kay. I forget the why's and wherefores of wildflower seeding. The one thing I do know is that they need sowing in very poor soil. In other words where no fertiliser has been used and the soil has been starved of nutrients. Bryan.
  16. Tesco did have them @ two for a fiver. Not so good now @ three for ten pounds
  17. Hi Digger. Mine is for a road legal Honda value £5,000 fully comp. £21.30 per month with the NFU Mutual. Paid monthly by direct debit. Good luck. Bryan, .
  18. Hello mate. Why do you want a trigger kit? Can you not take the rifle to a gunsmith and get him to do a trigger job? American rifles tend to be a bit heavy for safety reasons and need the triggers reworked. I bought mine new and had it screwcut and proofed and the trigger job before I picked it up. From memory I think trigger job was £40 three years ago. Good luck. Bryan.

  21. Hi Guys. In the first picture just to the right of the knife looks like a bunny bollock. If it is a bunny bollock it must be a man bunny and therefor cannot be a milky lady bunny. Was it a bollocky bunny? You should have cooked it, you do don't need gravy when they are like that. ATB-Bryan.
  22. Ditto all of that. I want to mount a light on a quad---any ideas? Bryan.
  23. Hi Folks. My hunch is that these paper people are in cahoots with police wildlife liason and ars pca to to stitch up fieldsports. STAY WELL CLEAR.
