  3. Whats the difference in a dog taking a fox and a dog taking a deer? Is it just a case of you enjoy shooting deer so you would like them all for yourself rather than see someone else enjoy persueing them aswell? Hello folks. A stalker uses binoculars to scan a herd of deer in order to pick the one for culling. It could be an elderly animal or one thats been injured by a vehicle or shot at by poachers or dare i say it a fluffed up shot from a stalker. Could someone please tell me how to get a dog to run up to the herd and pick out the correct animal. Sometimes i wan
  4. Hi. Mine is the Ruger stainlees allweather £a little over 500. I paid extra £45 for trigger tuning " £65 for threading and proofing. It is fitted with the SAC modderator which makes the whole thing a bit long. I think in hindsight i should have had the barrel shortened to 21 inch before threading. There are lots to choose from. 5. i use .222 and to be fair at that range your groups shoul be alot less than 2ins give the bore a good clean with hoppes bore clean remove all copper foulincg ect rest rifle on sand bag forend and but end to reduce wabble and try again HI. Are you letting it cool down after the flyer? If it cools down then the group tightens again, i would say that possibly the barrel is expanding and touching the stock. You may need to get the barrel floated. If the rifle is new it may just need running in. ATB-Bryan

  7. 10 blocks per square metre mate, and about 80p to 1 pound each for 100mm blocks, medium density are good.couple bags cement and about half ton sand. Just a small thing mate. Use some kind of underlay or membrane under the box profile as it is inclined to condensate and then drip into the building causing bedding ,feed etc to spoil. Usually it drips down your neck when you enter. ATB-Bryan.
  8. Sorry Pal but you should have saved a few more dollers up and got decent gear from a reliable seller. ATB Bryan.
  9. A typical windup post and lots of comments from the dog men who mostly do not have permission for their night time activeties. Perhaps the "shooting men" should follow the dog men home and stamp all over their mummies tulips and get them in trouble. Who wants to be in my gang? Bryan.

  17. Hi. We took 22month chocky lab to so called country show at Barleylands[Essex] on saturday. We walked over to watch ferret racing etc and i enquired of the gentleman "what is the best way to introduce doggy to ferrets just in case he meets one one day. He went into the tent and emerged with a ferret and crouched down to dogs level. I held dog and told him to be gentle and proceeded to 5h1t myself as he apparently tried to PICK the ferret. Long story short, the dog ended up lying on the floor with the ferret crawling all over him. The mans name Ian. He did a fantastic job. Stanford
  18. Hi Batson. Are you saying that you used Frontline and are now seeing skin problems? The reason i ask is that yesterday i bumped into an old pal who said his sons dog had just blistered up after being treated with Frontline. When they contacted the manufactures they were requested to take the dog to the vet and they would pay the bill. This was the dogs first time with the product and is probably an allergic reaction. 20. Hi. I had something like this with a newly aquired lab. It was said to be a yeast infection and the vet prescribed cleansing with Epi-Otic £9. followed by Surolan. Gunge in ear came out like waxy coffee powder and yeasty smell. Surolan approx £8.00 i think. A few months later the problem came back and i used up the bottles from previous and then asked for some more. Receptionist asked vet and got the OK. However the vet said that i should take doggy back in two weeks for a look. The cost of the look would be £26.95. After 3 or 4 months they are still waiting to have a look in his

  24. Hello peeps. I was a member of BDS. Unfortunately i found a lot of snobs, brown nosers and lardydars. Some commitee members went against the rules and used their possitions to gain stalking and then kept it for themselves and then charged beginners a fee to go stalking. When it came meetings and dinners it was all swank and posn nosh. Some good chaps off farms etc but also twats on the make. Newsletters dried-up and i received no range dates and later found out there had been an enquiry into the activeties of certain individuels. I always found staff at headquarters poli
