  1. Hello Pal. Is that including reproof? Bryan.
  2. Hello Maltenby. Dear Sir you are in a minority. You are into fieldsports. Bryan.
  3. Well moaning about it on this site is'nt going to sort it out..is it Be fair now. its a warning to us all. Me too. I ordered a pin badge and received. Was looking forward to reading the forum and was informed validation had occured. However when I clicked the link and tried to enter the code I found that the code was one digit too many for the box provided. I never did get on and just gave up. I was not too bothered about the money at the time. Just p155ed off with the whole experience. I had nobody to vouch for me but was not allowed in on trust. A shame I was requir
  4. not quite 3 per cage , but i set 28 cages on tuesday , took 2 out befor i came home , 9 the following morning and 11 today , so its worked quite well , trouble is one of the keepers told me this afternoon that some were almost blown over with snow so not expecting too much in the morning I always pin my cages to the ground with 18 inch T bars........this stops old Charlie rolling the cages about to get at the rabbits and also holds the cage tight to the ground to prevent movement......which if the rabbit detects will be reluctant to enter. That T-bar sounds good. I think I will t
  5. Stop all building of new hospitals and clinics and build hundreds of giant horses. Because they are really useful, are they not? Bryan.
  6. Hello A few carpet munchers mate :tongue4:
  7. The last three letters of his username is very appropriate.
  8. Hello Mate. I have already said my piece on rifle choice and do not intend to get bickering with the folk who differ. Much of it is a personal thing that you must overcome for yourself. One very important thing though is APPLY FOR THE SOUND MODERATOR when you send your forms in. You cannot purchase without authority and would need to apply all over again. ATB-Bryan.
  9. Hello. A little bit of snow left.
  10. Hi. My bosses quad went like that and it turned out it needed new brushes in the starter. The man who fixed it said that if I had held the starter button in and pulled the rope at the same time it would have started easily. Its just the starter sticking. I had suspected the battery but I was wrong and had been starting on the rope for 12 months. Hope that helps. Good luck. Bryan.
  11. Hi Folks. I am biased because I have the Ruger alweather. From memory I think I paid extra £60 for threading and proofing. £40 extra for a trigger job which is essential. In hindsight I probably should have had the barrel shortened as it is a bit long at 24". Fantastic rifle, great fun,but expensive to feed. Bryan.
  12. Hi.. I have recently built a shooting rig and had to lower the rifle rest by 1 1/2". I will get some pickies. Bryan.
  13. Hello peeps. I started with CZ .22 them added Ruger 10/22 for night work and both were brill. Bought a n Anshutz semi auto thinking to be a bit flash and hated it. Went through all the hassle with FEO and bought another CZ. I now mainly use Daystate Airwolf fac and Ruger allweather bolt action 17hmr giving me the best of both worlds. Thinking about it ,the early .22 may have been a BRNO(SAME THING) different name stamp. Bryan
  14. Hello chums. Who knows the real facts behind this case? I would wager that he knew the seller and that seller bragged about the guns power and used it as a selling point. The boot sale story was just a cover to prevent dropping the seller in the 5h1t. It was probably with the fishing gear bacause rod bags are conveniently good for hiding guns. Who knows? Bryan
  15. Perhaps the donkey is eating the vegetable waste and collecting the AIR MILES. He may even be saving up for a trip to Blackpool Bryan, .
  16. Hi. I had BRNO bolt action for daytime and Ruger 10/22 for night work with a lamp fitted. I was always on foot-not sure quads were available then. The 10/22 was light enough to hold and scan single handed allowing me to carry rabbits or ease the weight of the battery pack with the other hand. I only ever used cci subs. BUT cleaning was important on the 10/22 because the slide was inclined to gum up and not fully close which allowed leakage and power loss. So clean and then oil sparingly. KEEP the mags clean and DRY. Bryan.
  17. Hello mate. Sorry but I can't answer that one as there are dozens of possible causes. I am afraid its all down to trial and error and every barrel behaves differently. You will find the right ammo but its unlikely to be what someone else uses in the same model of rifle. ATB-Bryan.
  18. Hello mate. I had one of those. Your biggest problem is likely to be the mags siezing up due to oil, powder residue and pocket fluff. I used to flush mine out and rinse and leave to dry. Its a good rifle with the right ammo. ATB-Bryan.
  19. Hello. Have not tried it but read somewhere of using Superglue and a piece of leather. I suggest avoiding too much glue in the cut itself because it will sting like fook. Get doggy to vet. He will know how to neutralise sg. Please be CAUTIOUS. Please let us know how you get on. ATB-Bryan.
  20. Hello everyone. I have been watching A Farm Life on the box and am interested in knowing the breed of the shaggy dog called Huckle bear. Any ideas? Bryan.
