  4. I only meant to watch a rodeo.. Go skiing....you must go skiing... I live for skiing..Especially America and Canada.
  5. I haven't been for a 3 years to either place. When I 1st went it was cheap, £400 each for 10 days for flights and accomodation, last time it was up to £700 for 7 days. In Canada I stayed in Banff, very good hotels, food and service were excellent. People are amazingly freindly. In Jackson Hole I stayed in town, was just great. A real Western town, woodern side walks, cowboys etc, etc. Forgot to add, try a rodeo in Jackson, or a Ice Hockey game in Calgary.. Just remember the tips add between 10-20% to you food bill. But the amazingly freindly service is worth it. If you do go to Banff
  6. Ive been to Monatana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah. Ive been in Summer and winter..great place to go. If you go in winter you could do the Yellowstone National Park on a Snowmobile..that is awesome.. I've dona couple of winter resorts as well. Jackson Hole in Wyoming is just the best. Another good place is Canada. In winter, I've gone skiing a couple of times, and included, dog sledding, snowmobiling, snow shoing, ice canyon walking, ice fishing.. Great holiday.. Would defo reccomend In summer, lots of other sports, like quad trekking , horse riding, white water rafting, wild life watching...
  7. Sorry to hear that. You did the right thing, no point having the wee criters suffer.
  8. I once had my fortune told in the middle of a factory I was running in Lincolnshire. She was a middle aged Gypsy lady called Maria, who was working for me at the time. She told me many things that would happen to me over a period of time.... Most of which have come true ...........some of which are progress now ....some things never to be repeated.. She was a kind hearted sole, I really liked her, so did a large percentage of the male work force

  16. Just a question. There are lots of Members on here whose user names are self explanatory. There are others who are aren't...... I've had mine for years. It started off in the office one day when a new member of staff started work, and when asked what her hobbies were, she said she skied.. Another one of my coleagues said 'Matty D skies' and from then on it stuck. Any one else care to share?

  22. Good point. I am normally more careful when asked to go on to land that isnt held by FAC holders. You know the ones, can you help mr X with his fox control. I have open FAC, so clearance isnt a problem for me. I normally, and I stress normally, ask to meet the land owner. But when I haven't it normally is with people I implicitly trust. On my permissions, I have a written section on my authority letter to show guests that they are allowed. So I dont need to ask the landowners. Interesting though..
  23. I did say I put in my chicken liver pate... And I always keep my promises
  24. Locators are for wimps and people with no field craft. Whoops, and pro rabbiters who do not have the time to wait for the ferrret and one that kills consitently cuts down on the time factor, by having a quick dig, after all that is what they are getting paid for. There my friend is the crux of the matter, pest control persons are paid to get results so they have to get them or go out of buisiness. When all you hobby ferreters (of which I am one) keep banging on about locators and you cannot leave home without one and a spade. Make me think, god for Feck sake learn some fieldcraft, then you
