  1. Just wait till she's asleep mate empty out over her chops and stick her eyes together.............she'll sharp learn the error of her ways and start sleeping with her mouth open.......... You can tell he never married 'welsh' can't you Mal. You'd be waking up an Axe embeded in you skull, and a severed ferret head in your breakfast bowl..
  2. No one can make that judgement but you...You are the one with the animal. But it's easier to get the vet out at 7.30pm than 2.30am. Ring them and ask to speak to the vet, let him make the call, because if it is bloat, and you dont do anything about it, you will never forgive yourself..
  3. http://www.globalspan.net/bloat.htm Same advice...different source. If it is bloat, ring the vet Matt
  4. Hype, I suggest you get the course manual for your DSC well in advance There is alot to learn.. When you come to do the training and the exam, it will put the final blocks in to position. David Stretton writes a good manual you should get it, or an equivalent when you register. I could have sent you mine, but theres a waiting list for it and its a bit out of date now. If you need any help with it let me know. On the other course front... I did a degree in Rural Management in 1990, and I've just given my text books away to a girl from work who's about to start.. or you could have had them

    The wind

It was getty pretty blowy here, and it came from nowhere. I've still to check the woods for fallen trees yet, but they are shallow rooted, so i'm hoping for a few.. If there aren't any, well there may be a couple of casulties anyway
  8. Celibacy is fine with me cheers LDR.. I'm thinking of joining the local monastery its been so long..
  9. Do you want to swap?? Because mine ripped the arse of me today for leaving me fecking shoes in the wrong place.. This was just after i'd cooked dinner, been shopping, prepared tomorrows tea, etc, etc.
  10. This is my secret recipe for Pate. It can be used for all sorts of different meats, but on this occasion it was liver, bacon and mushroom. You will need:- A small pack of liver. Mushrooms(just a few) Half a small onion. Half the smallest pack of unsmoked streaky bacon 4 Bay leaves Pinch of thyme 3 cloves of garlic 11/2 oz or 75g butter Some redcurrent jelly Salt/pepper And the secret ingredient (a packet of bread source) Make up the bread suace mix according to the packet instructions, leave to one side for later. Peel and chop the onion, peel and crush the garlic. Fry th
  11. I am pretty sure by next weekend Al. As sure as I can be. A few more prayers to the snow gods etc. Wouldn't go up my self at the weekend, if its there on Friday I may go up though. Weekends are too busy for my liking.
  12. Just a heads up for all of you Skiers and boarders. My opinion is that the Scottish Ski season is going to kick off later this week. Those of you looking for fresh tracks should check the forecast for Thursday/Friday. Especially at the Jewell of the resorts(in my opinion) Glenshee. If you have never skied in the UK, it is an experience that should not be missed. It is an opportuistic event at the best of times that should be enjoyed when and while it is available. The recent years in general have been poor. Last year was an exception. For those of us that normally go abroad, the Euro
  13. Yep, interested to find out.. What's Barrel life likely to be like? I switched to 90g SAKO after our last discussion Snappy, thats tightened my groups up a little. Can't really go any lighter at present.
  14. I would suggest MK111, most people buy MK1's for compatibility with exisiting kit. If you have the cash spare for a MK111, there is no reason not to get one.. However, if you are buying second hand, and a MK1 comes up cheap, and it has a known history, it is still a good bit of kit.
  15. I have a MK111 and have to say it it pretty accurate. I love it, The sensitivity control works brilliantly. The only downside is the colloars being a bit fidly, but you get used to it. I would say that on a 6 ft indication, it is actually about 4-5 ft deep. Which is acceptable, because you allways remeasure during a dig. Big thumbs up from me
  16. Thats the last advice I give you Congratulations anyway..i'm sure there is a good one somewhere I hope you found her.
  17. In my view, unless being carried out as vermin control for a specific purpose, all deer should be shot as part of a management plan, where cull numbers are agreed before the season. All shooters should report to one coordinator, and he should have this agreed beforehand. Unless there are injured, old and rogue deer, which may be taken under common sense guidelines. JMHO Matt edited to add Just to clear up any missunderstanding.. deer should only be shot under a management plan..it reads two ways in my post.. sorry
  18. Heres the Mk11 I was on about, seen here down the pit lane straight at Knockhill, Scotland, scaring a journalist half to death. Spec: Fully space framed chasis. 20. When I first moved to scotland, I tried to carry on carp fishing. But with the record at just (then anyway) 29lb ish..., I though it was going ot be a difficult fishing season. So, i joined a season ticket water in the area, (the only one which has night fishing) and went to the water for alook round. It was not fished for in the manner I was used to fishing to be honest, having spent 15 years fishing hard carp waters in Englandshire, I was used to the wary carp. I joined in the morning, went and got my binoculars, catapult and a tin of hemp. Found a coule of likely swims I thought would prod
