  1. might help... http://www.downsizer.net/Articles/Wild_food/Top_Ten_Wild_Foods_to_Gather_in_Winter/ to be honest, myself and most of the folk i know concentrate on putting meat in the freezer this time of year. Pigeons, rabbits, venison, pheasant, duck, geese, woodcock, partridge. So I can't offer any constructive advice. Matty
  2. The original post has been answered, but one remains unanswered... If hunting is embedded in the DNA, and part of who we are... why are there people against it? surely they share the same DNA?
  3. was about to say exactly that... If you read the article, it hints that this has been agreed already..
  4. yes it will cycle 2 3/4 carts... dont mix different length carts in it and it will work just fine,.
  5. 22lr 22H .243 6.5 x 55 Have the above, but would make a few changes if money were no object.. 22.H would bet changed for flatter shooting varmint round... Maybe a custom .17/.20 but only because ammo cost wouldnt be a consideration then. I would add a 30-06.... because I could....... it would probably get out on the hill for a walk
  6. happened on our shoot a couple years ago..... its awful....

    Labs :d

Three dogs are sitting in the waiting room at the vet's when they strike up a conversation. The black Lab turns to the chocolate Lab and says, "So why are you here?" The Chocolate Lab replies, "I'm a pisser. I piss on everything.. ...the sofa, the curtains, the cat, the kids But the final straw was last night when I pissed in the middle of my owner's bed." The black Lab says, "So what is the vet going to do?" "Gonna cut my nuts off," comes the reply from the chocolate Lab. "They reckon it'll calm me down." The black Lab then turns to the yellow lab and asks, "Why are you here?" The yello
  8. The man is on the money.. You have to use Bike oil, not car oil, even if it is the same rating....
  9. Cheers, at the front where the fan and oil cooler are? just need to see where the fan is mounted proper.. I love mine... never not had enough power...... It tows like a train... goes anywhere.. never gets stuck.. still each to there own
  10. Mornin all.. Anyone with one of the above (1995)......... please could you photograph the mounting position of the front fan/oil cooler arrangement ? I have one of these, and am putting it back to original, doing a full rebuild prior to winter. Its getting a complete overhaul and the previous owner bodged the mounting arrangements of the fan with cable ties... works .... but I'd like the opportunity to put it back together right. So, Id really appreciate a couple of photos to advise correct position /location... thanks Matty

  14. its a problem at Junior level.. The boys have to judge what contact is considered a point in international competition without getting a warning... in scotland it wouldnt be considered as a point... different standards.. different points... hey ho..

  16. 7 years.......??He represents Scotland Internationally, as does his brother...... He was a gymnast before hand, hence his flexibility and balance.. (they want him back lol) Well done to both of your lads mate .... What style of karate do they practice ...... They were Tenshinkan for most of their training, but their Sensai found it restrictive to his own and the clubs goals, so he changed to Burakudo shotakan.. Its basically one big family in Scotland..
  17. Has anyone watched the program on Sky one, about taking young lads from deprived backgrounds to train in Kung FU in Hongkong, with the Shaolin? I thought that it was a very positive reality show.. where the lads basically gave it 100% and deserved their opportunity.. Anyone else?
