  1. hahahahaha, v. funny. I had a similar situation last summer. my hound in my avatar photo was mooching in some long grass. At a distance he can look very similar to a Roe. Well out of the corner of my eye I saw a Roe buck come stomping over all territorial like. It got to within about 20 yards when it realised my 3/4 cross wasnt another deer in his territory. At the same instance my boy liffted his head and spotted the Roe . . . . . . bingo. He felled it within 30 yards. Of course I pulled him off and told the Roe to be on its way. Damn nuisance this wildlife. . . . . . ;-)
  2. and of course there are 3 levels of exertional rhabdomyolysis . . . http://www.vetstream.com/canis/Content/Disease/dis60304
  3. it aint rocket science. People put photos of themselves carrying out illegal activity's on the public domain ie. THL, Facebook and the like, and 90% of the work is done for the old bill or RSPCA. You can bet your life this site is regularly monitored by antis etc. . . . . . so the answer is dont brag about yer activities on here or any where else!!
  4. any one know where I can get a magnet to switch mark 3 collar on and a off?
  5. rimadyl and metacam ok for swelling and pain relief, however if its septic it wants antibiotics. get it to a vet mate.
  6. at 12 months still a pup. my 3/4 cross didnt fully mature till around 18 mths. I guess there all different. my old boy 1/2 cross was dream to have, but picked his runs. guess you cant have it all and have to live rthere foibles.

  10. sorry mate, I'm really struggling to understand your post, bad english, grammar and punctuation. please clarify.
  11. Healthy looking dogs. that type always look a bit blocky for me. prefer the 3/4 cross. how do they work out on Coneys? Oh and by the way this is my opinion only and not written law before someone pipes up . . . .
  12. all good advise above. Especially in cold weather dont let youyr battery run down. Always get it on cahrge when your back in of a night.
  13. personally I would wait for next season, the ground is hard and fast this time of year, and favours the bunny. There is no rush, and you could ruin a potentially good dog if it doesnt see some success early in its career. If you do persist then see if you can spot a mixyed rabbit. Good luck and remember time is on your side. By the way you dont mention how old the dog is? If it s a pup then defo wait. . .
