    Aye mate door slides down. There is a wire tredle perch just inside the door. Length of wire comes forward from that holding door open. As bird jumps on the perch it moves forwards, moving the length off the door & it slides behind it. Its working a treat to be fair.

    I've had success on our farm. Run going behind straw stack. Set up trap besides stack, bale either side and loose straw on top. Bait wired from top. Accounts for 10-15 a year.

    Exactly mate. That's why I sent that photo home; all I'd done all day was moan & swear. Then I thought of my wife & kids stuck in house. Some people have lost their partner of 60yrs. Some people have lost siblings. Some people have lost their jobs. It's shittý. So I cuddled some lambs!!

    Clearly not everyone is following the rules - some numpties (I'm being polite) thought it be good idea to set fire to the piles of brash that have been left after some felling in our woods. Had to 999 it in the end, two fire engines & couple hours later. I don't know what I'm most annoyed about, the fact no one is over suppose to be in there but especially not now, the irresponsible ignorant nature of these twáts or damage it's done to the nesting birds in there. Angry Friday night beers are needed.

    I scatter any loose bales in our woodland rides just as something to catch eye & hopefully hold the few wild birds we have kicking about, seems to work.
