  1. Took me a bit of getting used to at first & initially in daylight mode wasn't blown away. But when the lights go out it really comes into its own. The night time picture is spot on, so clear. Its on my HMR and easily lights up & clear visual plenty far enough. Some cool features like PIP & so easy to zero. I hadn't intended on getting the lrf version. Had paid online at local shop. Went to collect & despite the site letting me buy standard version, they only had lrf in stock, so he let me have lrf version for an extra £50! And I've loved it, really glad of it now & th

  11. That looks spot on Mr Evans. Mind me asking where you had it done? You say expensive......
  12. Wouldn't worry mate, its a hunting forum not poetry corner.
  13. Gents (and Bernard) , I'm after some advice on comb height (shotgun). I'm probably what you'd describe as smaller than average (still fathered two kids though boom!!) 5'5" 9st and very narrow skinny face. I'm looking to buy new guns in next 12 months, semi & game. I need to use shims to raise comb. Not an issue with semi. Currently use 686 with a slip on comb raiser. But rather get something more permanent this time. Wondering if a monte carlo will lift it up sufficiently? Or does anyone have any experience of having an existing stock chopped & raised stuck on and re-fi

  15. I wouldn't worry at all about scratches & dents mate, like you say it's done what it's made for (like scars on a lurchers nose!!!) 50,000 diesel suzie engine with full history sounds like a cracking deal to me.
  16. Farmer next door has one as his daily runaround/work truck (an amarok for best ?) and he speaks highly of it. Tows very well. I think the older models were prone to the turbo failing & there is the well documented issues with the rear leafs. Full service history on it?
  17. Been using 17g vMax in mine mate, coming to last few of 250 now and plan to get same.
  18. I wholeheartedly agree that nothing we shoot should be exterminated, whether its job or not. But I do use NV. Just because you can see something & it's in range doesn't mean you have to shoot it, just have self restraint. I was out Saturday night & shot 8 rabbits. Could easily have had more but I didn't need more so left them be for another night.
  19. It amazing ,as where I work we have own farm shop all our meat goes through & we can't get enough wild rabbit, both domestic and restaurants people always asking for it
  20. Good going. I was out last night on them too, half a dozen of them which will go through our farm shop.
