  5. Hi, selling my Sportrak if anyone interested, its a 1.6 ELXi, 6 months test but tax just about out. I have taken the rear seats and carpets out (still got them) for the dogs, and for lamping. The rear roof and large sunroof can be removed for lamping or just to let the wind blow through your ears. I just used it for on the farm, never got stuck, but need the money to put towards a newer vehicle. Its on a L plate, grey good tyres and starts almost before you turn the key. Slight dent in passenger door, that lock blanked off but locks ok, and the odd mark, nothing serious. I am looking for £
  6. Dont choose get both, they both have their niches and to choose one you would miss out. I have both, I use the .17 for long range pest control(rabbit), 100/200yds a good range for hit/kill anywhere,(messy). But the .22 using subs 70/90yds clean head shots minimal damage good for eating. Foxes will drop everytime with clean shots with the .17hmr or the .22wmr, accuracy a must though. Some dissagree with using rimfire on foxes but a well shot rimfire beats a badly shot centrefire anyday. The CZ are very good rifles and reasonably priced, clean them regular, keep the ammo out of dirty pockets an

  9. If your doing it for pest control all year is fine, nothing wrong with killing pests. People dont think twice about putting poison or traps down for rats and mice and its just the same. If your doing it for sport, wait while the rabbits are chewing tree bark then its time.
  10. Just let it have what food it can eat it will be like a ball in a month, they are pigs.
  11. Well done mate, pest control does not have close seasons, keep up the good work.
  12. What I should have said is dont waste venison on ferrets, its too nice.
  13. Ferrets will eat any meat mate, people make me laugh when they say their ferrets are vegetarian, its like dogs they will eat anything when they are hungry, spoilt animals dictating to the owners, I don't think so.
  14. Dont bother taking them out just unscrew the cap slightly and that will turn it off, I always do it never had a problem doing it that way.
  15. Ive got the biggest dairy in europe getting built across road from me at Nocton shortly. I have permission on Nocton land so should get some ratting there I hope.
  16. Breeding in the same line is frowned upon, it just leads to genetic disorders in future generations. I would defo advise against it mate, but then again its entirely up to you. They used to breed lines together in dogs years ago to get what they wanted but that is one of the things that has caused many defects and problems. I always make sure that the ferret lines are as far removed as possible and never had problems.
  17. Just borrow a hob and breed them its that simple. They will breed as many times as you want them to.
  18. Too right, even if they are not set leave them in and let them get used to running over them, they dont think anything about it then.
  19. Now thats totally illegal, but fun!!
