    The best way to learn is from men who do it all day every day. Courses can have their place, health and safety is a good idea in moderation. We used to call it common sense back in the day now people apparently need to be taught it. Progress eh. I do not belong in any trade association as most of these are just for the sake of it. Just because a van has a logo on it does not mean that the person can do the job to a standard.

    I am not really sure what you are asking. The first post says that you don't have a SGC and in the second post you say "Why stop the sport you enjoy" have you had your SGC revoked? Personally I would give up shooting rather than risk killing someone. Doctors are notoriously unreliable when it comes to most things, what happens if the medication stops working and you have a seizure holding a shotgun? I sympathise with you if your ticket has been revoked but better that than someone with a bloody big hole in them.

    CZ 452, rock solid and accurate. Doesn't cost the earth and after fitting the trigger kit (cheap and VERY easy to put in) shoots like a dream. Don't forget the old maxim, spend all of your money on the scope and the change in your pocket on the rifle.

    I shoot in all sorts of weird and wonderful places. My two main calibres are .223 and .243, both have P8 mods on them. I find that the actual noise made depends upon the firing position in relation to a host of things. Trees, buildings. open spaces all make a difference. Don't forget as well that when firing you are only two feet or so from the end of the moderator. The further you get away the quieter it will seem.
