  1. picked up my new puppy at the weekend, shes my first lurcher and im well happy with her, what a joy to train compared to terriers lol, you would never know she was in the house, only had one accident with her in the house since the 2 days she has been here, very level headed and answering well, a credit to the breeder furryferretter. Anyway here are a few pics of her, still havent come up with a name for her so any help?? She is a deerhound/greyhound x greyhound/saluki/bull

  9. no not really...its what they should be doing at that age...ive terriers doing battle at 7months..if its in them let them do it....afterall mike tyson bacame world champ at 19yrs....cracks me up these people who fanny about with young dogs...... you speak as if this is done with all your dogs at this age?

  13. So from the comment on this thread i can take that a big dog will take rabbits right up to reds with good results where as a small dog will take rabbits up to possibly a roe with good resluts on the smaller stuff, so bearing this in mind it seems a no brainer, given your intended quarry.?

  15. fox killing lab?? never seen one kill before but ive seen one on a shoot a few years back retreive one, shot by one of the guns, and that was some sight i can tell you, at first it didnt want to but after some encouragement from its keeper owner it did do.

  17. in all honesty ive got a smoker bought it for £30 and wish i never, ive used it twice maybe, if your dog has any sort of nose on it, it will mark where the rats are, and you have to dig or move debris until you get to ratty, i dont like smokers as once the engine is on and smoke is coming out it spoils the scent for dogs and if the rat moves without you knowing the dog cant scent it as well as its lungs are full of smoke as well. others may have had success with them but to me they are a waste of time. also i welded a thick bit of pipe onto my exhaust and then put hydraulic hosing ont
