  2. thanks for the advice, initally ny nephew was using it as i bought it for his birthday cough cough (not for me hoenst) and i thought he had buggered it, but when i took sileancer off it worked fine, i then put it back on and it worked ok until i went to shoot a rabbit and the first 3 shots missed completely so i took it of and it nailed the rabbit i think it felt sorry for me! i think its clipping the side as it exits as small bits of pellets fall out of the sileancer when i take it off, bloody annoying as you think it will happen all the time and it puts you off.

Rifle working fine then i took it to check sights were correct and it wouldnt even hit the target so fired a few more shots through it and it hit the target surround but with no power whatsoever, it was then it dawned on me that something is resticting the pellet when it leaves the rifle, so i took off the silencer and its working fine, i put the sileancer back on and it worked fine, then i went out hunting and it started misfiring again, totally shatters your confidence when your expecting something to go wrong before you pull the trigger, very annoying, has anyone else had anything like thi

  5. my family are all fisherman, i used to go out on my uncles trawler in the summer, totally different ball game, in the summer i doubt there is a better job, calm seas and 100% craic, mind you i did sail up to the faroe islands in a 55 foot wooden trawler in march as i couldnt get a flight, needles to say i caught a plane home! :sick: i doubt half the folk in scotland understand fully what they are saying.

  9. At least I need a terrier box, where as you could use a couple of tiny match boxes. all you need is a saddle and you could ride your half dog half horse to where we go for a mooch, you would save on fuel!!

  14. Must be in scotland or borders, looking for a young dog to bring on, not worried if it hasnt seen anything but must be from working stock and quite racey, good home awaits with plenty of work for the right dog. cheers thurso
  15. you are right, these good people at the dog food manufactuars never for one moment contemplated the millions they would make from providing these foods??
  16. had a german shorthair, brilliant dog just make sure you get one from a good working line and you wont look back.

  19. exactly! she needs help, there is a condition or illness that typifies this. as far as checking breeders goes the costs alone would be huge to do this? a country the size of america and the amount of kennels it must hold, would be some task checking all of them?
  20. sickening yes, ive seen this on an american site, but this lady needs help, all that new her at trials etc had no idea her dogs were kept at this state she has obviously got health issues and doesent know when to stop, and as usual the spca (american rspca) have painted it as black as possible to get the coins coming in.
