  2. shes growing well and has a real turn of speed in her now, full of mischieve and fun, i think she is going to be big!

  5. i have a pup of MIK, and where i live it would be a poor night if i didnt see over a thousand rabbits in one area, never mind catch 100 now bare in mind this is my first running dog only used to terriers, but watch this space, this time next year it will be a mission!

  8. i hate them with a passion, when i was about 11 or 12 i had two pet rabbits, and they humped and were due to have baby rabbits, coming up to the due date i would be up and out of bed every morning at 5 or 6 am to see if the doe had given birth, well on the day they were due i went out to the hutch to see if anything had happened, to find the neighbours cat muching on the heads of 4 little baby rabits and the two dead parents beside them, needles to say the neighbours cat went missing a few days later i think it got a lead injection,??

Good stuff bshadle, sounds like you have all bases covered, and only YOU know your dog and when its ready, you wont be the first to go it alone and you wont be the last, as long as you are confident you have taken all the nesecary precautions then go hit em! good luck again and remeber to let us all know how you get on, ps Archies coming on good

  13. in an ideal world yes, but what if there is no one to show him the ropes, as long as he has done his homework? by the looks of all the gear he has, hes prepared for anything.

  15. my old mans reaplying for his FAC after 7 or 8 years without it as he lost interest, anyway hes planning going for 3 rifles, .270 and .243, what other smaller calibre would you reccommend? quarry red, roe, fox and rabbitt. cheers TJ

  18. i hear what your saying but i wouldnt knock a dog just because its got a short tail, it may be a bit inconveniante at times (trying to grab it), but once its done its done, doesnt effect its job?
  19. thanks for all the kind words folks, shes doing really well, she was in top nick when i got her FF and his wife did a super job weaning her, shes been given the best and it shows.
