  1. lol more than likely!! But after the kids found the last mouse in the other trap with its face squashed still dragging the trap around!!... I opted for the softie method!! lol
  2. I posted a week or so ago regarding some reall bad mouse traps that I bought, and on contacting the company, they sent me some free samples of a live trap, and two "instant kill" traps. I put the live trap out last night and had a result this morning. Ditch thought by my description it was wood mice that we are getting coming in... The picture is a bit out of focus, but what do you think?........ P.S The kids are going to let him go in our copse later.... AWAY from the house!!
  3. Who said beautiful?????.... He/she was a beauty...... and actually....., now you mention it, I would go so far to say they're beautiful too!
  4. Sweet! I've never seen one,... funily enough there was a programme on about them this morning, and they were saying that there are now no Water Voles in Cornwall Sad eh!
  5. Thats a fine healthy fox, I like the second to last picture the most, brill, well done
  6. Oh thats just the ticket Moll! thankyou!! I thought those colours and patterns would come through better with some tweeking I still cant quite believe I got that shot either... It's deffinatley more luck than judgement I had a millisecond to manual focus and that was it. (I'm secretly quite chuffed )
  7. I took this this avo' while I was chatting to my dad about how pants I was with this camera I was trying to get some shots of the birds on my feeders, when I heard a buzzard cry behind us.... Swung round and just had time to snap ONE picture, this was it Feel free anyone who has a good editing programme, to try and pic out the patterns under his wings better... I've not done anything with it.... Toni
  8. I'm not very clued up on it either - but its a bit of the file thats attached to your picture, that gives all the info of when the pic was taken, what resolution, setting, focus etc etc......
  9. Fantastic Bigred , how and where did you find it?
  10. Mmmm, but there must be a case where it has happened. I just thought, that as it is a dog owners responsibilty to keep thier dogs contained on thier own land, then its a grey area if somebody elses pet, or stray, comes onto your land. Would you be prosecuted regardless ? I guess its a little bit like those crazy cases where burglers have sued the owners of the place they were stealing from, for having an accident like falling through a roof that had no danger signs on it!
  11. Quail actually make quite a bit of noise, ... well the male Coturnix quail my brother has, do. Also, the eggs are lovely, very rich and creamy, but bloody tedious to prepare, you need alot of them. I'd look into seeing if you could have a few chucks, and promise the close neighbours some nice fresh eggs from time to time I recon thats worth a bit of noise
  12. .... Yes I can see the implications surrounding those circumstances, but what if your dogs, genuinely are out in their own garden, and a cat wanders in, and the dogs do kill it?... accidently...
  13. Surely it would be an accident *cough* if the cat came into your garden whilst your dogs were out playing........
  14. I blame it on my watery star sign .... Cancerian
  15. Anything that has a sport setting really, with a fast shutter speed......
  16. Your links still dont work, but I looked up the 410 olympus, thats a great price inc. 2 lenses!
  17. Your links aren't working for me... but, I have just bought an Olympus E300, and not having had any experience of a DSLR before, I'm finding it REALLY hard to understand. I had a friend over to talk me through it, who has a Canon 400 something or other, (about 4 - 5 yrs old) And she really struggled with mine. Aparently the Canons are much easier to find your way round......I wish I knew that before hand!! P.S Infact, you can buy it off me if you like!!
  18. Ah the devil Vino no worries
  19. Just the empty case Sue..... oh, plus some HUGEMUNGUSS spiders
  20. arn't dogo's and presa's the same thing or am i getting confused It can be quite confusing. Dogo Canario and the Perro de Presa Canario are essientially the same breed, the only difference is that the Perro de Presa Canario are seen as the working types, and therefore a little lighter and more athletic and the Dogo's are the show versions that are hevier and blockier. I would say they are and old style of neo, much like the modern type of cane corso. glad someone knows
  21. Mmmmm,....... but........ I was waitng to see if it was worth braving the spiders
  22. I was just wondering if they are worth bringing down and dusting off to sell.........? I dont know how old they are, they look in good nick though, and it'd be a shame to just ditch them. They are three different sizes, tall rectangular, long one on its side, and one other rectangular....... no bases, just the glass case bit. I dont know nothing about this sort of thing, so, are they worth rescuing?
