how much for the lot mate ?? jon Hi Jon your in box is full so your answer for all to see. £30 per collar £50 for knocker box.Sold the 15ft knocker box so the collar on its own £40 all in perfect working order.With the box comes 10 bats with each collar 6 bats.All in price would be £180 but I think that is a bit to mutch so I would take £140 in one hit,4 collars 1 box.P1 if the offer is still there in a couple of weeks i will defo have the lot only get paid in 2 week.. cheers for the info mate.. jon Thats fine mate.P1

a 100 yard long net requires 13 poles maybe if ur only ferreting footbal pitches Ha Ha Just seen this.To set a QUICKSET mate you'll need 21 poles for a 100 yrds and maybe some loose ones depending on the ground.(to make a good job of it) Golf flag poles are ideal for posts you can get 3 out of each pole 24ins,they are white but the rabbits don't mind. 50yds 11 poles.25yds 6 poles.Pm if you want any more info P1.

Just to clear it all up the 3 Mk1 ferret are left mk1 Micro and 2 first mk1 8ft (all for sale by the way)

only micro have single batterys dont they? have you got a pic of it mate Mk1 Micro 8ft ferret has 1 battery Micro ferret 2 bats is 15ft. micro terrier has 2 and is 15ft they didn't do a micro terrier with 1 bat.Hope this helps P1 PS the first Mk 1 ferret had 1 large bat 8ft the first mk1 terrier had 1 bat 8ft and the 15ft had 2 but it looked like there were 2 8fts stuck together.

They live a long time mate 10 being normal.The older they get the better they get at killing.When they stop working depends on what you want from the ferret and if you have room for a pet.

A mk1 box works with mk3/mk3m collar's but 2 x depth(1ft is in fact about 2ft) Hope this helps P1.

Yes mate, of course, if you have not seen it yourself it must be all dreams. Nope, definitely seen large hobs do it and to dead rabbits as well. From what i can gather there isn't much you havent seen. Cross them retrievers with your Angora's you will make a mint. P1

Think you folk are dreaming.When you feed your ferret in the cage or court it will pick up a mouthful of food and run off with it usually to the sleeping quarters. So what makes you think that they will pull their food out of the hole. No offense but what is more than likely happening is the ferret is grabbing hold of the rabbit and IT is pulling the ferret out and stopping at the mouth of the hole where the fight and pulling match starts.Seen it time and time again. If you have a small jill that is any good she will finish up in the net on the rabbits back. But I could be wrong. P1

Very good reasons to use a smoker.A smoker is made with a 2stroke engine(chainsaw,strimmer)do not ad extra oil to the mixture it will make it unreliable to start.You don't need to see lots of smoke,it's the fumes that bolt rats not smoke. You will ruin ferrets on rats. Good luck P1

Yep 20 plus digs a day sometimes if things are not going to plan, not bunnies, usually a few more than that. In my 34 years of rabbiting, (I'm 38 now) have seen things progress from bolting rabbits with jills, no locaters when i was a youngster and creeping around on the holes quietly netting up, to not worrying one bit whether they lie up behind a blocked in bunny, and in some cases, entering a killer hob to pin the rabbit and not netting up, if it bolts the dogs are always there, knowing i can have dug out the kill long before a dozen nets could be even set.
