Great scran for ferrets mate,Feed 4 a day for each if they eat it all feed 5 if they don't eat all feed less ,But I would strongly advise you to vary the diet.P1

Well I worm my ferrets when they look a bit thin,It has never don them any harm and they don't seem to stay thin so it must do good. I use Panacur small animal 10% (what ever the 10% is supposed to mean).Wormer for cats,dogs,kittens and puppies.2mil in a syringe squirted down the throat, Haven't killed one yet. P1

Hi wabbit slayer it sounds to me like you aren't slaying all that many. For what it's worth here are my views on your problems. Your locater won't work in that area fine don't use one.Your ferrets seem to be a good size so if they have to kill they will do it quickly and leave the bury when it is empty if you feed them well before you take them out.I use locater's on my ferrets because they are small and it takes forever for them to kill as they normally have to go over the back of the rabbit to kill it and I can dig them out quicker most times. Could you please tell me, what advantage two draw cords would give over a net with one draw cord? TC I've never used them myself but seen them placed on bigger awkward holes.I've also seen fox nets made this way.I really can't see the advantage.P1

Thats the way I'd do a poke net Longnetter mentioned 2drawcords IMHO 1 drawcord with a peg at each end is the way to go Y.I.S Leeview Sorry mate a poke net has 2 draw cords around the out side one is peged at one end and the other is peged at the other end a bit larger than the normal purse net.Hope this helps.P1

My son got one like that today, the lump was on the top half of the rabbits back leg and was the size and shape of half a tennis ball. After he'd skinned it he stuck the knife into the lump and found it was full of fluid. Tape worm cyst mate there should have been lots of white eggs in the water.P1

i was looking at some stainless tube today was 12mm with a wall diameter of 1.64mm very strong and light as hell i was very surprised. the shiny finish was a concern i must admit. how many could that guy you bought your poles from supply? are the solid or tube? ATB REDEYE I think by the time you weld on say 2" of 8mm steel points 21 times what will the improvement be? P1

How can stainless steel be cheaper if you have already got the fiberglass ones? What set up is your 100yds (quickest) How long are your fiber poles and how many.P1 My baskets are made from 8mm mild steel, nets are typically 100 yards 4z with 21 poles. each pole is 35 inches. stainless tube is quite cheap you'd be surprised. the problem i can see with them is if used at night then they would make too much noise when setting out. The original MK3 had no magnet there was no use for one. The latest MK3M has a magnet to activate (turn on) the magnetic collar.P1

The MK3 is a 16ft collar and takes 2x393 silver oxide batteries DO NOT use zink air types. Popular equivalents are, V393 SR48 RW48 R393/15 SR48W According to the instructions which came with collar P1

When you set a 100yd net you don't have to set all of it but when you only have a short 25yd net its all set ?? Just a thought.P1
