    I lived near chard for a while and used to fish the river Axe down in the tidal zone where the old railway/tram lines runs alongside on the other bank,there's boulders in the river and you can find peelers under them and i used to catch a few bass and plenty of good sized eels there.As it goes one eel i caught on a few left over rag worm i had was fat with peelers and i gutted it out and used what was in it's belly to catch another 3 eels ..

    Birds only take the colour into the feather as the feather is being made so unless it's fed just before and during the moult you won't get a proper colouring..

    Try to look at tide runs as well as i was out saturday at a usual spot that producess ok for us and for a few hours we had feck all but once the tide run kicked in we boated a few and with bass there a shoal fish so go back round in a big loop as you can spook them and you might very well hook into another one..

    Have to admit i was out on a boat today and it took me 10 mins to think about you and that prompted me to hurry up and get my life jacket on and should have put it on before i even got in the boat like i normaly do,good on you for getting them back on the water and nice one for trying to explain to some parents to.How did you do fishing as i had a not so bad day and me and my pal landed a 1/2 dozen Bass of around 3lb just trolling some rapala's.

    Fecking hell and good man for trying and been there myself with a dead person trying to pump life back into them and it ain't nice,you did what you could mate and if he don't make it then that's the way it is and there was nothing more you could do.Just make sure your kids are ok in their heads about it and one good thing that will come from it is they will never go out to sea without life jackets as they seen what can and does happen..Take care of yourself also and again good one for trying.

    Bit of both,my lad needed a operation so i found a field to park in long term and i used a brown cob which belonged to a pal and it knew it's job so all i had to do was walk alongside it on long reigns.. Fecking miss it and the best days of my life as i just had me and my son and it was a bit danny champion of the world at times if you get my drift..

    The whole thing is to big and heavy to have ever been pulled by horses mate and with the wooden wheels and wind up brakes (the little wheel above the draw bar)it was deffo pulled by a traction engine ..

    Gypsy wagons were pulled by horses,that was pulled by a traction engine and i'm just saying that's all and i'm sure the travelling lads on here would agree with me as i'm right .. It is a grand wagon though and i'd live in it no problem ..
