Well done mate and well done young un,we just can't find to ground at the moment been very warm this week but seems to be cooling a bit now so fingers crossed for a hit soon.

I wouldn't use dirt to block some holes up i use some long grass to plug them loosly so the rats can still push it out and bolt and the movement of the grass catches the dogs eye so giving them that extra second to get there,i use a cut down strimmer as a smoker and you can buy them very cheep even brand new ones aren't that dear compared to things like the rat attack smoker and mines so light the kids have been able to use it before now.

As the cover dies back your'll see the runs and holes better and it'll give the young un a better chance to catch,you could try some netting or small chicken wire to act like stop nets so giving the dog a better chance.He does look keen on them holes and he'll just get keener the more you do with him.

Walk into the field a few yards then turn it on,try to get between bunny and holes but at the side a bit as if the rabbit runs past the dog he'll have to turn right round to chase it where as if to the side he can get on it's scut.As for the lads with there bumfors and hammerfors,there for sh*tting out of and hitting nails.Bit slow you Norfolk folk eh lol.

You'd be best waiting for the moon to drop first Hollie but if you are going to go anyway then have the wind in your face and the dog on a slip.Enter field and turn on lamp,don't be tempted to loose him on the first bunnie you see but try to pick one close by that has squatted down.Walk the dog up to it allways being ready to slip him if the bunnie gets up and he has seen it,when your close to the squatter then gee the dog up and try to get the bunnie up and running,stamping your feet and hissing can do this.When the dog lunges loose him off and the rest is up to him,if he catches try not to c

I'll stand by what i've said and these pups are from very good if not great lines that have been tested for many a year and proved themselves worthy,rather than from a couple of usefull dogs who may do a bit hence the reason Tomo bred from good stock to good stock both with proven backgrounds going back for a good few years.Not bull at all leec and as you know yourself if you go for a tested and proven line or two then you have every chance at success,just as with these pups.Now it's a shame you had to use this thread for a dig at me but hey ho what ever floats your boat but like i said to yo

Next time you want to do something like spending a grand and a half risking bringing a dog into the country let me know. And if your a real fireman, how much money do you make hobling in your spare time ..... sorry its not my biusiness !!!! really is it Your risk mate,why try to pass the cost on to anyone looking for a pup?.No i ain't a real fireman and as for spare time 4 kids,7 dogs,1/2 dozen chickens,a few ferrets and a sexy misses makes sure i ain't got none .

These pup are probebly the best pups for sale on this site,BOTH parents are proven workers over many years graft and both from proven blood lines.If anyone wants quality then here's your chance and Tomo those pups are in A1 nick and a credit to you.

It is Brookie and one of his collie x's in the middle,that young un is in the making to being alright.He had retrieved 3 of those long ears all by himself and helped with all but 2 of the others,ain't bad for a year old dog,just come back from a shine out with it and my bitch just bunnies tonight and a few in the bag for them both.Made sure he put those fecking keys in his deepest pocket mind lol.

Went for a day time mooch yesterday with a pal and two of his dogs and my acd x,we had a good few hours out with all the dogs getting the chance to retrieve some fur.A bit warm as the day went on but the ground had a stream running through it so plenty of cooling dips for the dogs and as they all love a good splash about they didn't mind,the dogs were run singlely and in pairs and the 2 young guns did very well indeed.The ground we hunted can handle the catches we made as it's crawling with game of all sorts and we didn't kill everything we came across so no wise cracks needed on this thread.T

Thanks folks and you can see why i said i'm over the moon with him and what a gift eh?,a couple of weeks setling in,bit of excercise to get him fit and a flesh diet and he'll look a bit better still,then the fun complete with the ups and downs of entering a young un begins.

Went on a 300 mile round trip to pick up a new terrier i have been given to bring on,what can i say other than a massive thanks to Catterpiller who is the man who has given him to me to bring on.I feel very humble but so gratefull for him as he is a cracking thing who has settled in well with my other dogs and has spent all day in the yard with them with no bother what so ever at all,he's 10 months old and is from Chris H's stock who may i add made both me and a pal who gave me the lift very welcome at his home and i must thank him for that,nice one Chris and some fine dogs you have in your ya

Were waiting mods,the exsposure of dog thieves is something we all want so why has this one been protected?.Unless it's someone you know and are trying to protect,if not and it's liable slander then they can sue the original poster.Bit like if i say the warreners a dog thief he can try to sue me as it's me who's saying it and no one else,but then he is so he can't can he?......

The dam of that pup is a sister of my bitch and i couldn't be happier with my bitch,as it goes i have a dog pup out of her for sale ellir so pm me if your interested.Used to hunt with a gall bred bitch that belonged to a mate of mine and she had a heart of a lion and sadly was also killed in a kennal fight with 2 collie lurchers,good luck with the young un taity..
