  1. The dam of that pup is a sister of my bitch and i couldn't be happier with my bitch,as it goes i have a dog pup out of her for sale ellir so pm me if your interested.Used to hunt with a gall bred bitch that belonged to a mate of mine and she had a heart of a lion and sadly was also killed in a kennal fight with 2 collie lurchers, good luck with the young un taity..
  2. Good to hear and sounds like the perfect start.
  3. Well done wee Angus, onwards and upwards from now on.
  4. I was talking about the hounds mate, not you bunch of old slim jims . Hope they went well and the drag was all that was wished for..
  5. Those photos suggest he can only catch them on camera
  6. All the best, may the young guns shine.

Let's be sensible, there's only one great from those two and he ain't English. And it's 5 day Test cricket. Isn't he the only aussie captain to have lost the ashes twice?,if so mate "great" is not the word i'd be using . Mind you Freddy's run out was great to watch and nearly as good as seeing pontins face when that last wicket went .

hey just remember originally those convicts came from your country The reason why we got rid of them is they were no good mate, bad traits and all that.Thinking about it your really all bred down rejects and still answerable to a bunch of poms .All in good fun blue and i'm sure you'd be giving us some stick if the result went your way .
  10. One of my plummers mate i can work with ferrets and longnets and i can say i've never had the dog in the net or the dog trying to pull rabbits out the net,he is as steady as any lurcher i've ever been out with ferreting and when a rabbit does hit the net he just pins them rather than destroying them like most terriers would. The steadyness of the plummer is one of the reasons i chose the breed and like i say have seen some work as well as any gundoog in the shooting field and could see one working with a hawk safely, not trying to push the breed on anyone just saying a bit about them thats all.
  11. Wasn't being funny or bigging up whats in my kennels mate, just real facts.Plummers have in general very good noses on them and in fact some keepers i know say their plummers have better noses on them than there spaniels and yes they do keep good working spaniels. As for trying for a rise to the bait on the showing bit, heard it all before mate and really i'll think your'll find more pats or lakies being shown at most shows than plummers are .Your right about owners making the dogs though bud,but the dogs got to have it first. If not god i must be a good dogman and i must really take all the cre
  12. It's behind you!!!! .Thats better Notts and do well with the dog in the future season.....
  13. I've seen plummers retrieve as good as any gun dog on the stand, own 2 that i can dig to,bush with, ferret with and rat with.As a all rounder they take some beating and as for price i've a plummer pup here, legaly docked and jabbed, broken to chickens and ferrets from working parents i'll sell for £200 and thats no dearer than any pat or jrt.The nose on the plummer takes some beating and as for pedigrees, well thats just a fully tracable history of the dogs themselves and has feck all to do with how they stand in a ring and thats also real advice.

  15. £3150 ain't bad for a unplanned litter is it?.
  16. Gone the same way as the pink parrafin man i recon lol.
  17. Just heard from my pal he's got one of his back(the plummer/russell),he heard through the grapevine where it was went there and called the old bill. They turned up didn't do anything so he kicked off and they nicked him,a couple of other lads went there and got the dog back.the other dogs have been dumped off somewhere in north kent near the services on the m25,white rough coated russell dog, white course coated short legged russell type bitch with black patches.
  18. Use a bait that they can't run off with, something like chocolate spread or peanut butter. Then sit and wait and remember your back drop when shooting.
  19. Jails a fecking doddle mate, they should be brought to justice in the old school way, chicken wire, paving slabs and a good deep wier.
  20. Got a mate who had 3 terriers nicked from north kent yesterday,2 rough coated russell types and a smooth coatedplummer/russell.They beat his guard half to death and even tried to breack into his house, they left his lurchers and chickens alone but had all the terriers.Post will be put up when i have pics of the dogs,w*nkers....
  21. Honey is a good thing to mix in with a little warm water as well, plenty of easily digested energy.Keeping it rehydrated is the most important thing and like others have said your dog will look like sh*t mate, all skin and bones but don't worry about that just take it day to day.
  22. Was a good do there today and as for the terrier judge i didn't see anything wrong in the way he handled the dogs or the ones he was picking out,got to say the lurcher one was just as good.Well done all who put it on and thanks.
  23. Don't try to build him up fast, the poor bugger has just spent the last few days chucking up everything and it's stomach don't need stessing anymore.Rice and cooked chicken in little feeds every few hours and i mean little.Don't try to rush it mate and i myself have had dogs come back strong after parvo, although a good few years back but good strong dogs who all died of old age in the end.A good little guide is think of it as wheening all over again and feed simular soft gentle on the stomach type foods, all the best with the dog mate...
  24. I am as well for an hour or two, just bringing on my pup and she's doing alright so far.
  25. "Chicken roundabout" didn't know that still existed. Got rid of my cockerals cos missus has trouble sleeping enough with my snoring without cocks crowing. Got an arsehole moved in next door complaining about church bells ringing, could be interesting if I took on some more Maybe if I got rid of missus I'm having hassle with a neighbour myself but not bout cocks crowing, just my kids and doves lol.As it goes they were taking pics of our kids having their tea on a flat roof i have,i was stood below them so they were safe but she was rabbiting and raving about us being crap parents,i've
