  1. Clown! Got a big red nose and silly shoes as well but thats not up for debate but wilf what is clownish in what i've said,it's true and he was happy in doing so,also the people he hunts with are so please whats your problem with it?. Bullcross666 mate there's somethings you don't ask a lady.
  2. I was out a little while ago and we saw 16 in the first field then the next few fields each held between 18-25,last spring when they were boxing one field a 5 min walk from my house held so many chasing each other i couldn't count them properly and lost count at 30+.
  3. Who needs anti's with folks like a few of you who seem to have to pick fault with one of the few posters of something worth reading on this section,i for one hope Steve carries on posting but when your own side snipes at you who can blame him for not doing so.As i say all his posts show how it should be done in a very proffesional manner with respect to land, dogs and quarry alike and it's what he's up to that he's posting about and not what the hunt is doing.
  4. I also can see 100+ around my village and even saw a leveret the other night that was smaller than a rabbit so there even still at it here, have seen hares on ground this year they weren't on last year so it seems they've had a good breeding season in these parts.Just need a running dog now .
  5. PLEASE don't listen to the "wish i had the balls to but i haven't" crew and keep the posts coming chaps, like you say and we ALL CAN SEE there's nothing illigal about your posts and to be honest they show how it's done with one neat hole dug,the digging tools needed and ALLWAYS a humane dispacher and not forgetting a decent dog or two in your pics. The Hunting Life seems to be a bit much for some, maybe Fluffy Bunnie Pets .com would be more there thing ffs.
  6. Again well done both lads for putting up posts like this and ( Moo)correct me if i'm wrong but isn't this a hunting site where we talk about hunting?,RESPECT from me to both lads who show they haven't been bullied by this bollocks of a law and are proud in what there dogs and themselves do.
  7. Again good going and those terriers don't spend a lot of time at home do they lol.
  8. Think young Hanna might have something to say about that Donny!. On Autumn Watch the other night the presenters were on about putting your head down a badger hole to see if you can hear them snoring, was he snoring steve?.lol

  10. shane jones also known as Tommy http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/norfolk/8194031.stm also I believe under investigation for the theft of a whippet and a lurcher Tommy bibby is a different person to shane jones, there brother in laws as is micheal smith.
  11. Well, well, well, some on here may know most don't but i got accused of being the one who grassed them lot up to the rspca as i has just fallen out with one of their family(brother in law),the real truth is they were getting raided for robbing stuff and the old bill called them in.This i know due to another pal getting a visit from the rspca and him having a plummer terrier at his and the rspca officer spoke to him about that lot.Shane is reg'd on here as nbgdolls but hasn't been on here for ages,Dumbo on here or Dan as he's called on the wpt site and is a mod on there has been selling pups for t

  13. Just what i was thinking Stormy,no matter what x it is it's braver than the tw*t hunting with it.
  14. Well done mate and i recon a pleased couple of terrier men as well the keeper lol.
  15. My terriers get stuck into hedgehogs, they have a thing for them and i have to carry them away from the bloody things. My dogs don't froth at the mouth after a nibble but they do bleed quite a lot lol.
  16. May do yet, most of my permission is hour and a half drive away, after over 20 years of two nights a week, getting home in early hours and having up to a 100 rabbits to skin and freeze, the novelty has worn off, especially as the years are advancing (nearly 40 ha ) the bags arent as big nowadays but now prefer to just mooch and ferret. "nearly 40" life begins at 40 mate lol,my little bitch used to do all right on the lamp and had had a few different things on it to .Long way to drive for a shine thats true and to be honest mooching was what i did most with my bitch and only lamped her 3 t

  18. Early start for you today then mate? and a cracking pic of old charlie up the pipe.
  19. The farmer is the chap on the left of the pics and got stuck right in with the spade, grand chap who may just be a future terrier owner lol.Paddy done really well mate for his only second time ratting and at one time had a rat hanging off his paw and it was quite funny to watch him trying to shake it off, good drive about him and didn't make a fuss out of getting a bit of stick. The dogs were a bit swollen later that night and the next day but no bad tears and nothing a bit of antibiotic cream didn't sort out,joe the pup was chasing them after a bit and was ragging the dead ones the adults were k
  20. Waste of good breeding if i didn't keep at it mate Molly had a belting day, never told a lie and never slowed a bit and again couldn't be more pleased with her for what i ask from her. Thanks folks and it was a grand day for sure, good company, good numbers of rats, lovely sunny day but not to hot and a few good dogs .
  21. A little while ago i sold a plummer pup to a chap on here and he offered a day at the rats at a farm he works at,well yesterday it came together and after a drive up from norfolk we met up and had a day out.We started off the day by parking up the motors and whilst the dogs were stretching there legs and us getting to know each other the dog the dogs marked a hole,as it was under a skip the smoker came out and a rat was flushed. The dogs missed that one but we followed it and dug the warren it had taken refuge in,the dogs were marking all over and then we reached a good few in a block end. There
  22. Garden forks are usefull for digging with and a handy thing to have in the back the motor, garden folk??? are they the little people at the bottom of the garden, live under toadstools wearing funny pointed hats?,there not true and stop smoking that sh*t mate lol.
  23. Not the best idea mate,a few different locators to choose from but all worth there weight in gold.if your starting out on your own with no help from an old hand then try to pick small earths to start you and the dog off with, hope it goes well for you and get yourself kitted up with the right tools as well.T bar, different spades for different jobs and even a garden fork all will be needed at some point,go back through a few dig pics(steviemanns latest ones shows some) and your'll see some of the types of tools needed.Good luck to both you and the dog and let us know how you get on mate.
  24. Hard life eh and what with hunting the dogs, don't know how you do it mate.
  25. I'd rather watch a dog use it's nose and hunt them up,o natural as they say and it's just down to the law of averages on long slips or hunt/kick ups.It really depends on what you want from your dog,a working using it's sences, brains and field craft or a slip dog who don't do nothing but run at what you choose for it.
