  2. i back netted one years ago,then one ran in behind it. two be fare one was well netted and the other one was just caught by the feet but i knew i had to be quick as the buggers werent going to hang around for a piccy
  3. well two weeks ago now i found my new pup bramble collie x on both sides early signs are looking good clean at night and quiet, and sitting on commard all this and only just gone 10 weeks old heres hopeing for a good un fingers crossed
  4. i know people have dug to more then one rabbit and caught two in one net when chasing rabbits out but how many have back netted two rabbits in one as i have done to day .look forward to replys

  11. cheers bosco but i think i will stick to makeing purse nets and the long net im in the middle of at the moment and leave the snares to the other guys
  12. after checking the snares this morning one more for the pot and one snare knocked heres a pic or two
  13. as above after getting some snares of trapworks [dave] i thought no good just looking at them lets have a go and see what i can do, so i set up 5 fence snares at lunch time and on the way back from doing the pigeons i stopped just to check them this being about 7 30 pm and was well chuffed to find i had caught one. i know its only one but we all have to start somewhere . i will check them in the morning and let you know if it was just beginners luck or not

  16. stubby you do sometimes come across as up your own arse... the bloke has asked a pretty good question and someone may have a bloody good answer how do we all learn if we dont look for better ways of looking after the ferts all the best in finding a answer phill and you come across as a knob Im all for giving sound advice which I did, Im not a lover of sticking all sorts of lotions/potions/pesticides etc on a ferret, when a few minutes handling will show a tick and have it removed, relying on a "spray" also gives people the option of "not having to check the ferts today". take

  20. why not use hay ? but i would say use wood shavings and not sawdust if thats not what you mean ,sawdust can be far to fine and dusty
  21. I dont think she will ever be broken to them, perhaps just tollerate them in the run , she is a little better than when she first arrived here people have got ex racers living with cats kay ,so dont give up hope yet ps what was her racing name
