    hi maltenby if i was u i would just let your pup and ferret out in the garden and let them just see and smell each other ,just watch that your pup doesnt start too snap at the ferret and get to excited and if he does just say no in a stern voice and just scuff him to let him know your the boss . if your ferret is friendy he wont even bother about your pup but just make sure the pup dont stick he's face into the ferrets face and get bit .they learn pretty quick that there on the same side useally good luck I start by holding the ferret and letting the pup see that the ferret is friend not

    nice looking dogs .just wondered if any are from david hancocks stock as have always wanted a three quartar bred collie greyhound, any one had any dealings with him and how the dogs turned out

    is your whippet use to ferrets as your asking somebody to trust your dog with something what is not easy to replace if your dog fancys ferret for lunch in the excitment of a days hunt

    its not only you mate, im between Brighton and Crawley. Reckon your right though,we are in the minority! Just means more rabbits for us! does that make u about h/heath or burgess hill tyla

    u cant beat the saluki for staminer and most will run for days thats why so many people cross them with the greyhound for there early pace hoping to get the dog that can get to there hare, and then if need to stick to there job , until its done as a lot of money can be made out of 3 out of 3 coursing matches

    i dont like vets but it sounds like a trip to him is in order as he my need some sort of injection to sort it out plus u owe it to the pup to make sure there is not something serous wrong with it hope it turns out all right mate keep us posted

    it must be a greyhound if not why would the waterloo cup and other top coursing events be for greyhounds. i know theres coursing for other breeds ie whippets deerhounds salukis so on but the big ones are all for greyhounds. get into first crosses then i would say greyhound x saluki every time . that should get some people going

    it seems too me most ferreters on here are from up north are there any one on here from down the south east as i fill a bit out on my own

    took 3 ferrets out mum and 2 daughers mums nice and slim but the other 2 are right porkers but they still worked as well as there mum , there soon slim done with time and there all in the same cage so getting the same food

    hi justed joined and thought i let u know what im into . summer ,busy pigeon racing {hense the name } and come winter im out ferreting in sunny sussex (if u could c out my window u would get the pun ). ive got a lurcher,jack russell and a english bull terrier. look forward 2 joining in .
