    he only keeps them as pets and before you all jump on the ban-wagon im not the type of person who says they should be worked just because i do ,each to there own and live and let live and all that crap did try telling him it was a mink but he wasnt haveing it . when we were kids, bloody long time ago now he paid £15 for a sandy ferret as at the time you could only get the white or polecat colour, o how times have changed at the time you would only pay £2 for a ferret .

    not a answer to the question but if you had the hob done in April why such a long wait before putting him with the Jill's as by now they will be coming out of season anyway and the hobs nut's will be going back down and back inside

    your talking about poke nets with a peg each end and these are usually 5ft plus . you can use sliders on normal nets but as has been said not much difference in use

    sorry for being negative but surely if any one goes into breeding, you do your home work first and know what your breeding for, not mate two dogs to gather then ask what they have just created. its not like its a new cross and that there's not many around or have i just got old and grumpy

    i too had the same problems on dark winter mornings only to turn up to new ground and find i had brought along a leg of lamb to ferret with so i came up with the only sensible thing and only ever pop a ferret into its own bottle now . the pint of ferret pee is just to show how much you save clearing up while there in the bottle

    have you gone mad it says fill bottles with water and freeze it then put it in with there bedding, i feel sorry for your ferrets to have a numpty of a keeper. dear drw81, as you have not kept ferrets as long as some of us on this site, some as long as a couple of minutes and have kept up to several hundred ferrets due to the thawing out of the ferrets some just dont dry to the high standard we are use to, i will forgive your personal pm just this once please keep taking the happy pills and sense of humour ones as they really do work all the best and happy ferret freezing phil

    Quite right, heat and ferrets don't mix well. I fill some empty coke bottles with water and freeze them Thanks for reminding us all! can you please let me now how you get the ferrets in the bottles as im haveing trouble getting them in thanks

    which vets did you use and how much was it, if you dont mind me asking .last hob i had done the vets fcuked up and his balls shriveled up and died of cause they werent at fault regards phill
