  2. if you mean when your ferreting and she skulks when she comes out of the holes ,as its nearly the end of the season all i would do is handle her as much as you can during the summer to build her confidence up and put some pipe in her cage to play in and i woulnd"nt use a teaser to get her out as this can work against you just stand back and let her come out on her own and dont rush at her to pick her up, hope this helps

  4. ive raced pigeons most of my adult life and have never killed or tried to kill a bird of prey in my life. im not saying no one has done it but like anything in life you get one or two and the rest get tarred with the same brush. to breed and race a pigeon that then goes onto fly 550 miles in a day gives u a very good feeling much the same way as breeding a good lurcher or terrier does and also a racing pigeon is so different to a street pigeon its like chalk and cheese

DID YOU GET ANY OTHER DVDS OFF HIM, HES GOT ANOTHER 4 DIGGING DVDS, JUST WONDERED WHAT THEY ARE LIKE, AND IF ANYBODY HAS HAD TROUBLE, IF THERE WAS THEN SURELY HE WOULD BE BARRED FROM EBAY? no just the plummer one picture not 100% but then i expected that as it said old footage u pays yours money and take the chances
  6. brought the dvd old footage of brian plummer from him recieved it ok but i might have just been lucky
  7. thats dear mate only £1.10p new are they nylon , hemp or spun nylon as this will make the price dear for nylon or cheap for the other two
  8. i win hands down i can make one in 20 hours and your right about member bashing leave that to the lurcher seaction they've got it of to a tee the ferreting part is pretty nice and helpfull with no showmanship lets keep it that way

  10. brought 15 of fleabay used them once so far but seem to do the job there very soft and light so not sure what there be like when theres a bit of wind about, regards phill
  11. JESUS !! that kid is scary lol , and his my next door neighbour so watch out :boxing: he is about 37 and not a kid it was on tv the other night but is a bit scary

  13. why i was there two sets of quads were born both sets were doing fine but had to orphan some of them of to other ewes which only had one lamb
  14. there was one like that in the field but luckly the farmer delt with that one but i did get a wiff of the smell the next day and its not very nice .when they tried to get the lamb out the legs came away from the body and also lost the ewe its not all , sweet and rosy :sick:

  16. took a break from ferreting this weekend to go to somerset to help with some lambing on a friends farm ,never done it before but within a hour of getting there i was shown how to help the sheep with her lambs being born. i must say it was non stop from the start to the time i went home three days later. theres so much to be done at lambing time its hard work but very enjoyable. i even got up at one thirty in the morning to help feed the lambs what needed that bit more help in there new lives, and lambing any sheep what were ready, soon wakes you up .by the end of the three days i was there i w

  21. cant answer that one as left it for someone else . cant imagine what they thought when they saw it probably thought i was to tight to give them a whole one
  22. went out to day with stephen58 of this site. not the biggest catch of the year but when we dropped of a couple of the rabbits ,of to someone on the way home we noticed one rabbit only had three legs ,one of the front legs was completly missing never had that before. take a look at this {8 in total}

  24. cheers andy s410c brought her as a norfolk type lurcher dont know what shes got in her make up but is wary of strangers and dont like other dogs much which by all accounts norfolk lurchers are like
