    [went out to day with the new net i got of advanced netting and well pleased with myself. put the 50 yarder around the first warren and put the ferrets to ground got nine in the net and they wasnt going no where lost two which were lucky enough to go round the end of the net and my bitch whos never seen a longnet took to it like a duck to water, well happy.i then moved on to a hedge row and again run the longnet out but the rabbits wasnt playing the game as they just hole hopped and didnt get any from here i should have covered some of the holes with purse nets but wanted to see the long net i

    rained off again, but am hoping to get the netting what i ordered yesterday of advanced netting so i can make up the long net, 50 yarder was going to try and tie in the bagging good or bad idea ?

    i dont think lepus ment how you took it, all what you said is right but you still have to put the work into the pup/dog when you get it. you cant just get a dog from all the above and do nothing with it and then take it out in the fields and it to perform like a champ . thats the way i take what he ment anyway

    get hold of the dvd made by brian brinded making and repairing nets got mine of fleabay its the one whats 3 hours long payed about 3 pounds for it well worth it and your soon have your net sorted

    Took a mate a month ago to Hanccks He bought a half cross b\w collie marked bitch He has her sitting \staying and retrieving a small toy Doing very well his first lurcher he is very pleased with her she is very steady even at that age and also very interested in learning there were merles ,blacks,collie marked a real variety of colours all nice strong pups !     i will catch 40 tonight gut em skin e m and boil em so is that ok for you go on then snoops put it up but what class will it be in ripped fat thin fit unfit,like a said before a picture says a 1000 words on these feckin sites mark could u not have gut em skin e m and boiled the ten rabbits from the other night just asking as i hate waste

    what gun did you use is it a 16 bore? or was u useing nets aswell [gun bag looks to small to be a shot gun or am i way of mark ]

    its still early for a jill to be in season as its day light hours what bring them in to season but there always ones that go against nature ,even if the jill was in season has the hobs balls dropped if she is pregant most jills cope very well on there own just dont go messing around when there born as she is likely to eat her own young leave her in peace for the first week, good luck

    ive bolted a fox useing a jill but like pointer28 said i think a fox would make short work of a ferret, face to face, u just have to see some of the terriers that work fox to see the damage they can do ,flight not fight

    keep a eye on your dogs punture wounds as they can get all sorts off crap in there off the barb wire make sure u clean them with something ,even just salty water. good day though
