  1. "Terriers get immune to punctures, but slashes need immediate attention" your words FD,and complete bullshit. As for me being a retard, lmfao. Do you want to elaborate on this mate as you must be doing something im not and any advice is well recieved .Fox bites ,and i mean puncture wounds, are no problem to a terrier that is used to it .Slashes get filled with dirt and unless treated soon they go wrong.Tell me whats bullshit about that .
  2. The kammo bags appear to be the biggest which is why i was tempted to put two in but i wouldnt entertain a fallow doe or pricket .Good luck with the coming buck season to you mate .
  3. Your not advocating the consumption of an injured deer are you wirviz ,very unlike a DSC holder .Fit for the incinerator thats all in most cases.
  4. Excellant advice foxdropper the boy is 12,why not call him a retard now And you know hes 12 do you .Does that mean you are 68 ? 68 thats your IQ isn't it Still sixty more than yours .
  5. That was light hearted too .To get a response from the likes of you .If you understand that post and can reply with a few words of wisdom then be my guest What do you mean the likes of me?Please elaborate,it would be nice to hear what an "experienced" person like yourself as to say You are obviously someone who likes attention ,im right arnt i.Nothing constructive from you just got to have a go as you proved. Got to admit i thought it would be someone else who bit.If im wrong i apologies here and now but am i? .I will read your future posts with interest mate .You still looking for

  9. A post like this tends to draw the retards out and no mistake...And comments like that will too What makes YOU such an expert on "Retards" are you intelectually challenged yourself Its meant to be a bit lighthearted mate ,hence the little chap clapping .Im no expert but i do dig to my terriers and have learnt a bit over the last 25 years .I write about that experience and not what i think people want to hear or whats been written in books .If the whole thread offends you mate then tough .Too many on here asking for advice that is meaningless ,even to a keen starter .Ive learnt to seper
  10. You mean your going to have a fallow on your back mate or do you have roe too!
  11. A post like this tends to draw the retards out and no mistake Ive no problem with anyone asking a question ,i get it all the time with a lad out with us ,its the posts that are as sounder put it ,blatantly goading us into writing things that could be mislead .Perhaps i worded it wrong but it seems there are a few who definately have no experience in terrier work and will have none this time next year .They are passing through and it pisses me off .As for he who said my posts are full of shite ,he can back that up can he !Retard
  12. Lately there has been an influx of shite posted on here in this section .Can we put in place a question /answer system that will allow those who at least keep and a work a terrier to access whilst keeping the retards out .Questions changed frequently and a pass rate needed to enter ?.Getting very boring
  13. Propper job ,propper dog and humanely done .Well done lads
  14. Well done FD, you are having a good year. Do you process all the meat yourself? I will admit i was impressed with that roe sack of yours, are you still pleased with it? Is the back of it padded? I have your picture, the one where you are explaining how many roe you carried in sign language, saved on my computer........ It makes me smile every time I look at it ft Most goes to the dealer mate .Sack is padded at the straps and sits well with just the one in.Glad to see someone else other than Martin gets some enjoyment out of me struggling
  15. As usual mate ,clients on deer .Still plenty about there and how are the followers doing after that cold spell ?.
  16. Wont be putting two in that sack ever again . Tally so far this year -28
  17. I will say this -Every single dog that ive had ,seen work ,of any breed ,type has good olfactory senses .It goes hand in hand with work .Cant find ,cant work .You must learn to have a bit of patience when at a big place .We know nothing of what goes on once you release the terrier underground and to state otherwise is to purely guess . No two encounters are the same ,luckily and in case you havnt noticed, quarry smells different at different times of the year ,even to the human nose .What is needed in a terrier is perseverance ,somtimes confused with a lack of nose .A big place takes some wor
  18. Im beginning to think its not at all uncommen .Martins had one too recently .
  19. Thanks for sharing mate .Great to see others hold our own values ie one dog ,one hole .Great pics .
  20. Out yesterday morning ,first light to a place i recently shot a fox doing some damage .I figured the farmer owed me in the shape of a doe or two . Went straight to the usual spot that holds but nothing so a slow stalk of the boundary ,glassing very often .Spotted a brace of does along the railway fence that appeared to have been spooked by something behind them as they continuously looked over their shoulders .Anyway, this worked to my advantage as they were headed slowly my way and i had time to get staedy on the bipod .The ground was a bit undulating here and being lead down ,one minute t
  21. Should you feel the need for help at any time mate ,may i have first dibs please
  22. When threads go this way ,at least you can see who NOT to have a pup off in the future.Thankfully ,this side of the water ,we respect the dogs and quarry .For those spouting shite about having to start a terrier doubled up ,look at some of your own websites and you will see its thankfully not the norm. Why not try a dog on its own, surely this will sort out the better dogs so you can breed accordingly .
